These solar lights do not give off quite the same glow as shown in the pictures. The pictures make it look like a pattern of light but really it's just a solid circle of light. There were eight lights in the pack and putting them together was easy. You can stick them in the ground on mount them on a wall. These lights look great and add a really nice touch to the landscape. The quality exceeded my expectations, nice light, not overpowering. Assembly was straightforward, and the components fit together easily. Installation was also fairly simple. I had an electrician handle the wiring to ensure everything was done correctly, and the process appeared simple. Depending on your yard and wiring setup, some digging may be required to run the cable, but I was told that this is typical for low-voltage landscape lighting.
