I love the look of these landscape lights and was so excited to get them! However, as a non-electrician, I had no idea that we would need some transformer box in order to install and make these work. The lights light our pathway very nicely. The fixtures were easy to install, however I did not use the connectors that were supplied, they were not the best quality. Depending on your yard and wiring setup, some digging may be required to run the cable, but I was told that this is typical for low-voltage landscape lighting. These lights are very well made and I love their modern appearance. They are simple to put together and the ground stake is very solid and will hold up well in the weather. These were a great find! I really was looking to include some lighting up to my front porch where its already dark. Honestly, at first when I pulled them out of the box, they seemed super huge, but in the end, I think they will fit well in the space. My front yard is still in the remodel state, with some gravel going in, but I think the photos give you the idea of the space. Only comment is, I wish there wasnt so much styrofoam used in the packaging. Other than that, I havent been able to power them up yet because the order is just lights, not the transformer to power them. I do appreciate the have a good paint finish and seeming construction. These black LED path lights are very nice looking! They arrived well packaged and included all materials. All were easy to assemble individually, but figuring out how to hardwire the lights together and to electricity will prove to be challenging, hoping to make it work since I like the look so much!. I have not wired them in yet because we have 4 feet of snow on the ground at the moment where I live, but they are very durable and I did test the light on another wire and they are very bright without being too LED and in your face. These lights are as described, tall and made of metal. The only ones I have had are the solar plastic ones that didn’t last long at all. I thought these were solar but due to my fault and not reading the description like I should have, I need a transformer and an electrician to install them for me. I read the instructions and installation is easy but due to the electrical part, I want a certified electrician to do this. They will be beautiful at night lighting up my sidewalk. I can barely wait.
