I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. I absolutely love these light fixtures! I only wish that the photo made it more obvious that they do not come with a metal down rod. What looks like a perfectly straight metal rod is actually just a black wire, which in real life is difficult to make perfectly straight.
