We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. I’ve been really happy with this ceiling fan overall. The design is what first caught my attention. The solid wood blades look much more upscale than typical builder-grade fans and give the room a clean modern coastal feel. It works especially well in spaces with white or light natural finishes. The fan itself is very quiet, even on the higher speeds. The reversible motor is a nice feature and the airflow has been excellent for both cooling and circulating air. The remote is simple to use and having 6 speeds gives much better control than standard lowmediumhigh fans. I also liked the adjustable light temperatures since it makes it easy to switch between warmer lighting at night and brighter white light during the day. Installation was fairly straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer in a few spots, especially around wiring and pairing the remote. Not difficult if you’ve installed fans before, but first-time installers may need a little patience. My only real complaint is that the integrated light could be a little brighter for larger rooms, but for bedrooms, covered patios, offices, or sitting areas it’s perfectly adequate. The Fandelier is yet to be installed, so it’s not possible to speak to the functionality how much output it has - I’ll update later, once installed. It arrived very quickly, was well packaged, in perfect condition. One thing I can say, it appears to be much more gold in the photos than it is in real life. I think it’s still pretty, just not very gold. Hopefully my client will be happy with it. UPDATE: Fandelier has been successfully installed. My client is very happy with it, it has more power than one might expect given the size of the blades & the remote works well. The *only* complaint is that it beeps every time the light is turned on/off, or the fan speed is adjusted - it's a totally unnecessary feature & a little annoying for my clients who have it installed over their bed in the primary bedroom.
