We recently installed the 16-inch Oil-Rubbed Bronze Outdoor Post Light by Charlton Home, and it has been a beautiful upgrade to our outdoor space. I love the lights and they look great! Pictures of old and new. Note: I painted the bulb collar to coordinate with my other exterior lights. Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. Only thing I would change would be an option for an off/motion on mode rather than just low light/bright motion. Love that we can put it anywhere we need more light.. Robert. Leroy, OH. The powder coating is flawless and appears to have been applied with intention. It comes with easy to follow instructions, and almost everything you need is included, minus a few tools/supplies and a "would like to have." There are two ways to mount the light fixture, on a flat surface (template included) or a 3" round pole. I would have liked to have seen an included gasket for the base for either the round pole or the flat surface to help prevent moisture from getting in underneath, which is why I went with 4 stars. GORGEOUS! We had some that were 24" high and were just way too big for the pillars at the top of the exterior stairs, and the one at the bottom of the stairs. But these are the perfect size!
