I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. I'm using a longer USB charging cord than the one provided, as you can see in pics. The 100% light is brighter than anticipated, while the 10% level is very much like a bright night light. Assembly was quick and straighforward. I did end us using small drywall anchors than provded, and they work fine. The remote is useful and they include batteries for it. The sconces were simple to put together. However, we had to use our own very short screws in order to attach the plate to the wall. My only other "issue" with the items are the lamp shades. One came a little creased, and there's no way to smooth it out. Other than these small problems, they look nice in a small bedroom, and the rechargeable lights and remotes are nice features.. We wanted to elevate the look in our dining area. These fluted wall sconces really did the trick! The space went from meh to marvelous. Installation was easy. Removing them from the bracket to charge is a simple task. Although each sconce came with it’s own remote and batteries, we are able to use one to operate both. If they are used often, I would suggest charging at night and replacing them on the wall the next morning. This will allow for longer use.
