The light came quickly, but the driver left the box far from my house down a long driveway, right in the middle of a rain storm. I told Wayfair and they immediately sent a replacement, which is great customer service. The new light arrived quickly and looks great over my kitchen island. My reason for a four star rating instead of five is that I can’t figure out how to enable the light for my smart house system. There is a remote control which I find obnoxious to deal with—I think I need to change the switch, which might solve the issue. Have had my eye on this light for a while, but it was rarely in stock. I grabbed one as soon as it became available again and couldn’t be happier with it! The design is absolutely beautiful and feels very unique — there’s honestly not much else like it on the market. It adds such a luxurious and refined look to our space and instantly elevated the room. It is a dark brown stain, looks black to the eye standing back. I’m docking one star because it arrived with a crack in one of the wooden brackets connecting to the shade. Thankfully, Wayfair customer service made it right and worked with us on a solution so we could repair it ourselves without needing to return the entire fixture.
