I absolutely love the design but it is not made for outdoors and basically started falling apart three days into having it outside. The bottom is stapled on and the staples began to fall off as the rattan warped. It has no outdoor protection and since it's battery-powered I imagine that part of it would've gone sooner or later. Led lights are energy efficient and last 10 times longer than conventional lighting. This Led light included aluminum housing and comes with 72 super bright white lights with inline controller which allows you to change the light to the color of your choice (red, green or white). They are great for fountains, ponds, lakes, waterfalls or garden landscapes.

I tested them item and it worked great and I decided not to use it in the pond but instead as an addition front light to cover an area of my home that was very dark. I like that is will be able to get wet and still work.
