This light fixture works perfectly in our bathroom. We wanted to replace the original builder-grade light that came with the house, but I had trouble finding something that met our needs. Our previous fixture was ceiling-mounted, while most bathroom lights are designed to be installed on the wall above or beside a mirror. I actually found this light while browsing kitchen fixtures, and my husband suggested it might work well in the bathroom—and he was right. It looks great installed. I especially love that the wiring is fully enclosed in metal tubes. Our old fixture had exposed wiring threaded through chains, which was difficult to keep clean. This fixture also provides three lights, and because the bottom of each sconce is open and the bulbs point downward, it gives off excellent, bright light—perfect for waking up in the morning. Installation notes • Some parts are secured with set screws the correct size Allen wrench is included, which is a nice touch. • The instructions need a small correction two pairs of wires exit the assembled fixture for connection to household wiring, but the instructions only show and describe one pair. • Overall, assembly and installation were straightforward and manageable. This product is ok. I like the quality of the glass shades, they don't feel like plastic to the touch. They are also easily wipeable. The black is a nice matte black, so it looks like a nice heavy iron material. The only thing getting me is the wiring the lights actually hang from. They are so bent, I am hoping they will straighten out. In the Wayfair photos the wiring looks perfectly straight but I don't believe I'll be able to get them this straight because it is a thicker wiring. The light is beautiful! I didn’t realizeor didn’t think much of the light having chains to hang, and so it doesn’t really match my other pendant light styles. Just something to be mindful of because I wasn’t! It wasn’t a bear to hang, but it didn’t hang level and took several attempts to get it level. We actually just stuck a little piece of foam under the part of the chain on one side that sits in the hook to lift it just enough to be level because I gave up. Overall, we like it!. Erika.
