This review is somewhat late as I was hoping to have this beautiful chandelier hung, but I am having to wait on someone that can come and install it. This chandelier is not my normal taste, but this room is rather large, and I felt like it needed something more bold and substantial which it is. I do love the rusticindustrial look and once it is hung, I will know better if it will go with my other furniture or not. I do think it is beautiful even though it’s not my normal taste. I am also very anxious to see what kind of light it produces. The description stated with four exposed bulbs that it provides a sufficient amount of illumination. Also, the fact that it is an open frame design allows for some brightness. Another feature that I really liked was that it was dimmable. I love the fact that the chain is adjustable and allows for the fixture to hang low or high. At this point, this room will be more of a sitting area with a piano, and maybe a small sofa or two chairs. If I decide to use it in my dining area, I would be able to have it hang lower, but at this point, I will have it with a shorter chain. The chandelier was very easy to assemble as well. This light fixture is even better in person than it looked online. It appears to be very well made, and the woven design allows light to come through beautifully, so it really brightens the space well. The open weave does cast shadows and patterns on the wall, but that is not a deal breaker for me, but just know that. I love the drum pendant shape, and the woven texture adds beautiful warmth to the space. The weave looks high end in person and does not feel cheap at all. We chose the gold metal finish, and it is a warm, beautiful shade that feels very cohesive with the woven detail and gives it a classic look rather than feeling too bright or overly yellow. It arrived well packaged with no damage. Our electrician had no difficulty installing it, and the chain came with plenty of length. This chandelier is very beautiful- from afar. Putting it together took me about 45 minutes. It wasn’t difficult, just time consuming. I had to unwrap and assemble each separate piece of the chandelier. The glass pieces are attached by bendable nails. I’m not a big fan of this as they were very long and they visibly hang down once assembled and looks haphazard. I’m going to get a wire cutter and shorten them so they’re not as visible.
