Overall this is a nice looking fan. It is pretty easy to assemble and looks nice. The reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 are twofold. First, there is a flaw in the gold metal at the top of the fan housing. It is hard to see from the ground but it was pretty obvious when assembling. This wagon wheel chandelier came packaged well in one box. It’s very large, so make sure you check the measurements. I love that it has a fan as well as lights. My electrician had to hand cut the rod to shorten the fixture. It’s a beautiful farmhouse style chandelier. The color is beautiful, a dark walnut and black hardware. It requires 8 lightbulbs. I love this lightfan fixture. It looks great. The unit comes with a remote, and you can change the brightness of the light. There are 5 different fan speeds, and it reverses direction so the fan can be changed to push warm air down in the winter. It also comes with a bracket to mount the remote on the wall. So far so good. They are really cute. We have not got them put up yet but they are put together and we love the way they look. Update; We finally got them put up. They are super cute and work great. Super big! This is such a nice looking fan! Everything went together easily. The brackets for the blades are super heavy duty. The instructions were very easy to follow, however, the span of the blades is wide enough that we couldn't lift the fan past the ladder with all 8 blades installed. We took 3 blades off so we could climb the ladder with the fan, the reinstalled the remaining 3 blades with the fan in place. The remote worked right out of the box. Even on the lowest speed, the fan moves plenty of air. This thing is whisper quiet and looks awesome once completed. It does have instructions for adding a light kit, if that's something you need. This Ceiling fan was purchased for our pole barn. the heat inside the bars gets intense in the summer months and there is very little airflow, this fan offers the perfect solution. The wingspan is amazing on this thing. Our electrician is booked until a few weeks from now but we assembled it to get a good idea of the size, so we have not had it professionally installed yet but look forward to a cooler experience next summer.
