Replaced 2 8 foot flourescent garage ceiling mount lights. Not user friendly with respect to mounting on ceiling where existing wiring penetrates. Beautiful shape to the shade, easy install! Im a little worried about the parts that screw in to sandwich the shade between the ceiling plate and light bulb--they dont fully line up, though they do screw on all the way. Im also a little worried about the weight of the shade in relation to the ceiling plate, as ours wobbles a bit, but the metal mounting plate under the ceiling plate is screwed in well and securely. These are adorable in our space. We have three over a long island (87") and I think it's balanced/proportional. One is hung a tad higher than the others, but I think that's on the electrician.
