Do not buy! This fell apart in less than a year. The hinges are screwed into glued sawdust and not only did the hinge pull out, it broke off a big chunk of the “manufactured wood aka glued sawdust, so it is not able to be repaired. I opened this lid just once every two weeks for less than a year and for almost 300, it should not fall apart. Wayfair refers me to the manufacturer, which does not return phone calls. They don’t stand behind their products.

Color is not like the pic. It worked out ok for me because I was able to put the piece is another room. Quality is very good.

It is a cute chest seems heavy and well made My only complaint would be the directions on putting it together, could have been a little better.
