This was exactly what I was looking for. It has a fine chenille feel to it.I purchased the brown, not the color I would call it.It's more of a pastel blue,green and tan.There is a peachy pink stripe in it,which I needed. I wanted something that was not extremely heavy,but I didn't want something paper thin either. This is just right.I will be using it on the back of my sofa.

Arrived quickly. Colors match perfectly with my area rug. Just wish it had some cotton mixed in for a softer feel
