Although I did find myself really wanting an area for LONG necklaces as most ladies have a few of those. Other than that, the build is thoughtful. It’s sturdy. Feels good to close and clasp. The locking mechanism is solid. (Did it have to have a Christmas tree key Eh No big deal though lol) The light at the top takes 3 triple A batteries that do not come with the product. This not necessary, but I think it’s worth it. Once in, you can turn the light on or off from the top. It’s really nice. Sleek design, full mirror on the door and the led lights are awesome. I also love that I can hang it on my closet door. It has SO much space. The only reason I gave it 4/5 was because the little draws at the bottom will just fall out if you’re not careful. I can see these breaking easily. Also the earrings holder is plastic and kinda cheap. Trying to put the backs on posts is not easy, and I have small hands. Overall Im very happy with this purchase. It is decent quality for the price and managed to hold all my jewelry. I did have to shift things a bit to ensure the door closed fully, but once I determined what needed to be where, Ive had no issues. You also need to be thoughtful about where heavy pieces go to avoid making it front heavy. I added books to the back shelf just in case. This was heavy and awkward to carry. Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong apartment so I had to schlep it down one set of stairs, to another building, and up another set of stairs…which royally sucked. It was one of the hardest things Ive built solo. Its not that complicated, but it is hard to do on your own because of the height and weight of the main piece. I got it done in about an hour with some planning, but nearly died twice. Try to get help if you can. I think it would be a 20 minute build with two people. I have bought a lot of mirrors and they make you look short, wide, tall, you name it, this mirror is spot on. I love the swivel base. It is 360°. The shelves in the back are nice for storage. The inside has tons of space for your jewelry as well as anything else you want to put in to it. There are a lot more hooks for necklaces than most armoires. This is nice because you don’t have to double or triple up your necklace space. It is designed well so that you are able to use this efficiently. I really like the lock on the side. It keeps jewelry secure. It is a nice sturdy lock, not cheap like a lot of the jewelry armoires have that are easily broken into. The mirror was extremely easy to assemble. The instructions are clear and accurate. Give yourself about 30 minutes to complete the project.
