Shelves are as advertised. Beware that the install is 2 screws rather than a solid metal bar. It takes some planning and a level but very simple to install. I will need a tiny wedge to stabilize the bottom shelf as it has a tilt forward. I would have returned but the Wayfair return policy requires me to pay for shipping and it wasn’t worth the price.

For the price, I was hoping for more. It’s solid, sturdy real wood but doesn’t have as “living edge” or craftsman-stained a look as I was hoping. Looks like something I could have done myself with a 2x4 and a low grade stain. Also the shelves sit on the mounting hardware at an angle. I had to tuck shims between the shelf and wall to get it to sit level.

I love the rustic black finish. Attaching the shelf was a challenge. The wood around the prepared notch broke off and we weren’t able to attach it as described. We improvised with some L-shaped brackets instead. We also bought a second set of a different length. After attaching those, one fell off the wall, splitting the wood. So you may need to adjust how you mount them.

Don’t waste your time. Horrible anchoring system, 2 screws for heavy shelves, and of course the wall anchors came broke.

It's just a barely sanded and stained piece of pine. I thought it'd at least be sanded nice and smooth. The pictures show it shinier. It's great for someone going for a rustic look. I was just looking for something more finished.

Very nice floating shelves. I expected a better quality and easier anchorage system. The anchorage site can be easily damaged if not precisely measured. Some people might have problems. I would not buy it again

Received this today and there is a huge crack the full length of the table; it looks like where the pieces of wood were glued together. My tracking information still says "out for delivery" so I can't even address it with wayfair. Pretty bummed, 2/2 on orders not going as planned today. This one was expensive. Beautiful otherwise; maybe my excitement for it makes it even more disappointing.
