I chose this bed for the functionality and design. While I love all the storage it offers the bed itself is very cheaply made. I was very disappointed with how wobbly and unsteady it was. Even pushing the finished bed back against the wall the legs were bowing. I don’t even feel safe climbing the ladder to check on my daughter. Second, the drawers and storage unit wood ripped and fell apart as soon as you attempted to put it together. My husband had to buy brackets for the drawers just so they stayed together. If the whole unit didn’t take an entire day to assemble I would have sent it back. Instead my husband just reinforced the bed as well. Overall we loved the design but wish it was made with better quality materials.
