We took a gamble on this because some of the reviews cited long lead times and insufficient packaging leading to damaged product. Unfortunately it did not work out. The item came with at least two parts chipped and three boards completely snapped in half. The packaging they ship this in is just not sufficient to protect the product. Definitely not worth the wait.

I purchased the one with the black doors and the doors are actually light grey, so that's one thing, I ordered this item in November, they shipped it and it was never delivered, FedEx marked the package as damaged and as undeliverable, Wayfair shipped the item again and I finally got it 4 MONTHS LATER, but guess what? it was super damaged to the point where it cannot be assembled, it's a really cheap and fragile piece of wood (I'm pretty sure they just re-shipped the same box that FedEx had marked as damaged), wait, it gets worse, it is not a product that can get reimbursed because its past the 30 day warranty period, are you kidding me!? The item was delivered 4 months later how was I ever gonna fall withing the warranty period... So basically I paid 1300 for some planks and screws, taking legal action against Wayfair on this one.

It took an eternity to assemble and is pretty rickety. One year later, the cabinet doors are constantly getting misaligned. It looks nice and provides ample storage for 3 peoples shoes and coats. Its cluttered in the winter but thats to be expected. Overall, I feel we overpaid (450ish) for what the quality turned out to be. You can find similar ones now for cheaper, and Id go with those

Arrived with damage all over and does not support itself. It was installed correctly and fell over on its own. Have 4 more pics, but the site won't let me upload any more.

5 stars for design. But for quality they could have done better and shipping took very long(4months)

The piece looks good. However it took months to ship and was delayed a month which was annoying and there were some imperfections on the pieces which I’m not a huge fan of.

Not crazy about this hall tree. Looks much better on the photos. It’s cheap looking, not as sturdy as expected. The handles are plastic. Ours came damaged and the veneer is chipped in multiple places. It’s not one solid unit, when you push the two units together there is a gap. Disappointed, not worth the money. Looks like a college dorm item.

After two whole months of delivery delays, box and package arrived damaged all over. We expressed to the delivery driver that the package was damaged as soon as it arrived and he quickly responded with an excuse that it had been inspected by supervisors prior to delivery and that’s why the box was semi-open then left quicker than he got here. To boot, quality of material is very poor. Unacceptable! Extremely disappointed!

Late delivery but satisfied with purchase

Once we received our hall tree, assembly was easy and straightforward. Put together and with items on it, everything looks beautiful. If you look closely, the pieces definitely have manufacturing imperfections and it is not the sturdiest piece of furniture, although we don’t really need it to be sturdy. Delivery was the most frustrating aspect of this purchase. It was way beyond the original delivery date when we were contacted and informed that it was lost in the mail. After this, Wayfair’s support team was a HUGE help in getting a new one reordered which came quickly afterward. All in all, it was about a 5 month process and we get a ton of compliments on it.
