This is a beautiful dark wood. It is very well made. I use the tray to keep bottles of wine or liquor on. It looks so nice sitting on my counter.

For a product described as solid wood, it looks surprisingly cheap to me. The finish appears lackluster, certainly not what I expected from a serving tray that likely carries a premium for being solid wood. This was my first and, I can confidently say, my last time ordering from Wayfair. While the tray itself was a letdown, what truly sealed my decision to avoid Wayfair in the future are their exorbitant return fees. For a company that bombards us with seemingly annoying and endless daily TV commercials, youd think theyd have the financial capacity and customer-centric approach to offer free returns. Instead, customers are penalized for receiving a product that doesnt meet expectations, adding insult to injury. Save yourself the hassle and the return fee look elsewhere for a quality products.

This is a beautiful tray! I got the 22" and it is perfect for the ottoman it sit on. I have a floral arrangement, vase and candle on the tray with room for a book and drink when I cozy into my couch. It's perfect!
