Safety 1st Under the Crib Smart Light

Very little light, motion detection works only with close distance less than 0.5m.

Easy to install, and easy to use! This is very handy wished I had this for my first child!

Doesn’t work without the app, just flashes red and white. App REQUIRES that I allow it my location “always” just to connect it to Wi-Fi (for personalized weather…for a crib light? Spare me). Then it wants me to manually type in my Wi-Fi network name instead of just listing the available Wi-Fi networks. I honestly just gave up and I’m not going to use the darn thing. Probably about the 5th simple thing I received as a baby gift that needs an app before it works correctly, but this is the only one that requires I allow it my location information at all times before even allowing me to continue further in the app setup.

When I received my Safety 1st Under Crib Light I knew I would enjoy having it. Being able to change the light colors and turn it off via phone would be a nice novelty. The installation was super easy as the packaging included doubled-sided tape. The app installed on my phone and registration was a breeze. I had a little trouble connecting the lights to my Wifi, but once I got it done there was no looking back. Using the app was super user-friendly and the options were more than just color change options. The ability to turn on motion sensing with a custom timer is a game-changer. When my wife and I get up to tend to our daughter in the middle of the light our customized gentle blue light fills the room with an appropriate glow that isn't too harsh on our eyes. I love the range of the sensor because there's never any fussing to turn on the under crib light and the product is well made. I don't know how I went so long with an under crib light and I can't count the nights where we had to sleep with a bathroom light or a desk lamp on to ensure we weren't tripping all over the place in the middle of the night, but now those days are over. I highly recommend the Safety 1st Under Crib Light.

I was very impressed with Under Crib Light. I was looking for a light in my baby's room that I could control from my phone and this is the best one I have tried. I can control the intensity of the light and even the color through Safety 1st app. I like how the light is designed to be under the crib allowing me to check on my baby at night without waking her up because the light will never be directed in her face. This light also comes with a turn on and off button and with a motion sensor that can be activated to turn on when motion is detected. It also auto dim after a period of time. Baby can move during the night and the light will not turn on by itself since motion detection is located under the crib. With me, it usually turns on when detects my feet as I get closer to the crib. The app safety 1st also has a variety of scene light modes for "Night tasks", "Wake up", "Story time" etc… If you have their baby monitor, you can control the camera and the under the crib light through the same app. It is very convenient. As I said before, this is the best light I have tried in my baby's room. It has so many good features. I would recommend it to any parent as it will be used for years and years as baby grows.

I didn't know how much I would use this until I got it, and I love it. I love the light comes from underneath so it's not right in the babies eyes and I can still see what I'm doing. I also love that it's very discreet so you can't tell it's in there

First I like how small it is. I just have to say that I am very disappointed in trying to get it connected to Wi-Fi. I have been able to get it connected. Also the motion detector on it is very finicky as sometimes it works and other times you have to press the button to get it to turn on.

I never knew I needed this until I got it. It comes in so handy with overnight wakings!! I just adjust it from my phone before I go in, and I can see exactly where I'm going. You can change it to any color under the sun too. Amazing!

This is a great light. I mounted it under my little boys crib and love the motion sensor. When I come in the room at night, It will turn on a soft light under the crib so that it will not wake when I check on him. The app is easy to use, I had a small glitch when I first installed it, but I think it was because I was on a 5ghz network as opposed to a 2.4. The only thing I would change is add a little more wire to the motion. I mounted the light to the back board of the crib and had just enough wire for the motion sensor to peak out the front.

We've been using the Crib Light for a couple of weeks now. Our child is getting out of the crib stage, but this light has made a huge difference. The tones aren't harsh or too bright, and you can choose from almost any color on the spectrum. We don't use the motion sensor feature, but if he was smaller then it would be a huge help to check on him while he's sleeping throughout the night. We have had zero issues with the wireless controls, but be aware you have to have a wireless network to communicate with the light and take it through setup. I would strongly recommend this product!
