Malkin Counter Height Dining Table

Overall we’re happy with the table. However, the wood surface is much much darker in color than shown in all the pictures provided on line. Buyer beware. That’s why the 3 star rating.

The table was nice but came with several small dents and chips. Luckily, they were at a spot that would be hidden once assembled so I didn’t think it was worth it to re-pack and return and buy again.

Assembling it now. But, in first glance, you should all know that the top color is not as pictured and is darker than the natural looking top in description. I’ll update after assemblies. Well, sad to say it was damaged. I so wanted it to be perfect. Seems it was sold to me this way in purpose to see if I’d bite. The bottom left of the box was overly taped.. that was the clue. I saw the inside crack portion and thought, I could deal with that because it’s underneath the table, then after assembling the shelf and legs (step 1). It was time to flip it over and that’s when the major damage was observed. I initially thought it was only the inside crack. 3 different locations. Hope the company makes good and replaces it. UPDATE - Replacement showed up quickly and I was happy with that. After opening the box I was able to notice that there was a crack and one of the same spots as the first one and the shelves had some chips as well. After contacting Wayfair and going back-and-forth for some time, Wayfair offered me a 15 discount or a specialist to come out and repair the damage so that the product would be new. I was skeptical about the specialist, but I decided that I wasn’t going to take the 15 and I deserved a brand new item so I scheduled the specialist to come out and we’ll see what happens. I highly doubt it can be repaired to brand new. I paid for a new item. I deserve a new item that’s not damaged. I believe the company that Wayfair works with must have multiple items like this in a warehouse and they’re all damaged because the corners were damaged on each of my two items and I can guarantee if I asked for a replacement the third one would be damaged on a corner as well. I’ll update again after the specialist shows up next week. 

The perfect dining table that doubles as a kitchen island in our apartment. Pretty easy to build as well, but 2 people are needed to move as it is about 100 lbs. Super happy with this purchase!

I decide to use this in my craftsewing room. Great storage and plenty of space to work, create and sew on top.

Very solid table, great green color. I’m happy with everything except the corner that got smashed during transit. I expected this based on reviews and it’s not worth returning the entire table so I’ll just deal with it. The box is also extremely heavy I had to take the parts out of the box and bring it all upstairs. Assembly isn’t bad at all.

I absolutely adore this table! The house that my boyfriend and I are in doesn't have a dining room or formal dining area so, this product was the solution for us since our kitchen is bigger! A place for us to eat as well as some extra kitchen prep counter space. We have the green color option and it's gorgeous. Assembly of it was pretty smooth but the shelf piece was the most difficult with screwing the shelves in. Overall sturdy and quality piece though! It does not feel or look cheap.

Very satisfied with table and chairs

Great for my small space! The top seems a bit cheap, definitely a painted on wood grain, but for what I needed for my price point, it’s fine.
