Ive had this rug only a couple of months and washed it for the first time today and as you can tell from the picture, it is a total piece of garbage-The entire binding came off!!! This rug is going immediately in the trash. What a total waste of money! I washed it on the gentle cycle, dried it on extra low, with two tennis balls, and the entire rug basically came unwoven. I’ve never purchased such an awful product. Who decided this was a washable rug!? Set aside the fact that it emits an awful smell. Do not purchase! I would give zero stars if I could.

Beware this rug is not colorfast. Plain old water causes discoloration. Not good for high traffic areas. I put it on top of carpet, it “travels” when walked on. It is such a nice color and soft. Would probably work better on hard floors with some sort of backing. UPDATE I washed in cold water as directed. Fit beautifully in an industrial sized front loader. It had plenty of room to move unhindered. On removal I noticed that the fringed had raveled. It reeks of a petroleum stench. I hung it out to dry. The hemmed edges are wavy. I hope that a vacuum will help flatten them. It still smells pretty bad. Jute is jute but I was not expecting this from a Wayfair item.

Overall, the rug itself is very nice. It has a very neat and clean appearance and I also like how it adds a subtle pattern to a space. I give it pretty high marks for overall look, but for my rug (this could be a one off), there was a snag or a section that was not woven properly. Kudos to Wayfair’s customer service for making it right. I ended up keeping this rug for a discounted price. The rug also shedspills but not too badly. It will probably subside. This rug can be indoor or outdoor. BEWARE if you are using this indoors. It does have a smell. I understand that off gassing is a common thing with rugs that are treated or made of synthetic materials. I am not sure what we would have done if we had gotten this during the winter months but the smell is awful and seems pretty toxic. We left doors and windows open with fans and purifiers going for about a week. If you have the space, I would air this out outdoors first prior to bringing it in your home or enclosed space.

I really like the rug design and feel, however I think it will be difficult to put in my washing machine. I will probably have to go to the laundromat. I am looking forward to see how well it holds up to dirt and dog.

Perfect for my space. Quality as described but the pattern was different then ordering picture. Definitely won’t fit in my household washer but I can take it to get washed if needed.

The rug is only been down for about a week. Unfortunately, it shows dirt very quickly. It says it is machine washable but I will have to take it to the laundromat since it’s so large to feel of it. It’s nice on your feet no cushion because it is like a giant placement, it’s pretty I don’t care for the fact that it shows dirt so quickly. 

This is a fine rug. It’s simple. It works for a minimalist. Not too fancy. You could set another rug on top of it for sure. I think it could really work in any space if you wanted it to. Maybe in a bedroom with a bed on top.

Arrived within 3 days, looks like the pictures and I love the fringe design on the ends. I haven’t washed it yet, so cannot comment on wash-ability, but reason for three stars is the non slip backing. It’s sticky and leaves a slight residue on your fingers, so I’m concerned this residue will transfer to my wood floors. I wouldn’t recommend using on wood floors, but tile instead. I first thought the hot delivery truck melted the rubber backing, so I let it cool for several days in the ac, but there’s still sticky residue that transfers when you touch the back. I have other non slip rugs and they don’t leave a sticky residue.

This rug looks exactly like pictured. I appreciate that it cam rolled up so it didn't have any creases in it. It also has a tacky bottom to keep it from sliding around easily. I do wonder if it's too big to put in a washing machine so I plan to spot clean it as needed.
