This is a nice piece, especially for the price. I was downsizing from a lrger bookcase and this holds a decent amount of books, vaces, etc. I didn't enjoy putting it together but it wasn't terrible. I would be easier with two people but was still manageable.

I chose this shelving unit because I loved the shadow-box type cubbies inside each shelf. This was fairly easy to put together, and I didnt need help. The wood is not flimsy, and the shelves seem to be pretty heavy duty.

needed to get a shelving unit to put decor and picture frames on. This one was perfect. I like the fact of it being wood in black to be able to mix well with the furniture. There was quite a few pieces, but it was actually easy to put together.

This is a pretty cool looking book case, but the depth of the shelves is a tad shallow. Since half the shelves have backs, you can’t place books past the shelf depth. It took about 45 minutes to assemble, and a few of the pieces had scratches, dings, or markings on them. A bit disappointed that this “new” piece of furniture already looks a bit used just from the state some of the pieces were in. Maybe wood colored pens will help fill some dings.

Absolutely love this bookshelf, looks great and was very easy to put together, goes well with other pieces. Very sturdy table with plenty of room to put things on . Its not a wide table , so it fits in plenty of places.
