I love the feel of this rug, it’s almost a blanket like texture. The color wasn’t as brown as I thought it would be. It has more of a deep maroon color with a little brown so be aware that the colors don’t match the photos.

I received this rug in a vacuum seal. I wasnt quite ready to lay it on the floor so I left it in its wrapping. I opened it enough to touch and feel. It is very soft with a cloth like backing. Im bothered by the type of material this is. Its like felt material with the design imprinted on it. Not a true rug by any standard. It is thin and machine washable. On hardwood floors you definitely need a pad to go under it. Its just ok.
