I will getting a hold of customer service for hopefully a replacement but just very disappointed that we have to wait for a replacement after less than a month of purchase.

We purchased this for our son's birthday as all of the neighbor kids have them and love it. It has worked great up until 2 weeks ago. I believe there is a faulty connection with the wires to the relay box. Outside of this issue, it's awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received one of these as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but we'd already bought 2 the Christmas before. Now we have a third for when friends visit. More than a year later our NightHawks are STILL a hit. They are fast enough to be fun but not dangerously so. Sitting so close to the ground makes them feel "zoomy" (as my 8 and 5 year old kids say) and even though they take a few minutes to learn to ride we haven't ever had a crash. They are responsive and not intolerably loud for supervising grownups. The NightHawk is admittedly bulky to store and charge. But considering it's on such heavy rotation at our house it's completely worth it.

Charge the battery according to the manual instructions and have fun. My 7 year old loves this! He will ride on this for hours if we let him. It took him only 2 minutes to learn how to operate it. I love that it has a brake. This is a great product. I definitely recommend this to parents of elementary school kids.

It is definitely for older children as it requires the rider to balance themselves before the go-kart will move forward. It takes some getting used to, but my seven year old seemed to catch on pretty quickly and enjoy herself. FYI, if you have multiple kids, my five year old did try it out and it was definitely a learning curve for him to maintain his balance long enough to ride it. But both kids had fun on it and are determined to practice more. It’s pretty low to the ground, so I was a little nervous that they might scrape their hands or something if they lost balance while trying to navigate the go-kart. You definitely want open space that is free of any cars for your kids to ride on because it is so low to the ground. The functionality was great and the only thing you have to install is the battery. Which is awesome when you know how many toys require you to put them together. It’s light enough to easily pick up and put in your car. My 5 year old had a hard time getting the hang of it because it requires a bit of balance. However, once he got going, it got easier and he had a lot of fun with it! I really think he enjoyed the challenge of learning to balance while getting going and it goes pretty quick! He even enjoys using it in the house now that it’s colder outside. As a parent, I love that it is smaller and we are able to store is much easier than a bulky ride-on toy. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has limited storage!

The Rollplay NightHawk has the thing my kids love the most: speed! Plus, it is easy to use, so they were quickly able to figure out which pedal was the gas and which was the brake. I love that they are able to practice balancing as they zoom through our cul-de-sac. The Rollplay NightHawk was also already assembled, so all I had to do was place the flag on the back. There’s nothing I would change! I received this ride-on vehicle from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were able to test the Rollplay Nighthawk ride on toy thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Originally I thought my 6 year old would love it, but my 10 year old gets a lot more enjoyment out of it. It takes some getting use to how to balance and maneuver and my son quickly lost interest. My daughter is still loving it and will go out and ride it until she gets too cold. She loves the speed and having a ride on toy that actually still fits her and doesn’t go extremely slow! We are really excited for summer to come back around so we can get more use out of it. I really appreciate how compact and easy to store it is. One of our biggest problems with ride on toys has always been finding a place to store it when the kids aren’t using them.
