This glass lamp was the perfect size to give light in kitchen when you do not require overhead lighting. It fits perfectly under my cabinet. The only negative was the fact that the bottom is not enclosed. I did not read that in the description, perhaps I missed the point. To not scratch the granite, I happen to have a smooth glass tile that It fits on perfectly.

Did not care for this lamp at all! It could easily scratch any surface because it has no base. Further, the shade just sits on the light bulb. Do not recommend!!
