Definitely not room darkening, but I was using them as a second panel behind the black out shades I purchased, and they are perfect for that. The pattern is very pretty - botanical and simple, which is exactly what I wanted.

Definitely not darkening curtains. They are pretty but they are very thin. Helps with the light a little bit. They also are not as full as pictured. Thank goodness they are only for my classroom

I am keeping them but... they are really cheap feeling fabric and they are really skinny. Not like the picture shows. that must be several panels together! The colors are really nice and true to the image
