Stacking of stones means different things to people, but to me it represents state of union with the environment. This little lamp in our entry way is just so perfect. I needed something to top of my rather artsy and unusual cabinet, and its so perfect. The rectangular shade is a black silky material that seems like it will likely repel dust. The contour of the shade allows me to back it up closer to the wall. Although the shade is black, it makes plenty of reflective light, making the foyer look soft and welcoming. The base is heavy, making it hard to knock the lamp over. The stones are stacked and are extremely secure. The lower height allows me to put it under the mirror. Although the lamp is a bit unusual, it just seems to be an amazing fit with our quirky decor, AND it holds a special meaning. I love it!

Beautiful lamp. Reminds me of Sedona! It's not tall. Light green and pale reddish orange shiny "rocks". Shade and base are definitely black as stated even though the shade in the picture looks like it has a brownish tint. It doesn't match my dark brown leather furniture or table, but I'll find another place for it. It's an interesting piece!

The lamp makes an impressive appearance on the website...but wait until you receive it. It is beautiful from afar, however, close inspection will find: 1) the shade is very cheaply made; 2) socket was horribly bent (in reference to this, I contacted Wayfair and they sent me another lamp--which was bent somewhat but fixable by me); the rocks on one side were loose--I haven't applied glue to it yet but will later. As I said it is beautiful from afar.

This was my treat to myself. It was a little smaller than expected but it still looks really stunning.
