I really like the concept of these lights however, I did not think they would sink to the bottom of the pool. Once the lights are submerged in the pool, there is no way that the remote works. The lights just stay on at the bottom of the pool. In my opinion, it just takes way too many batteries. 12 AA and four of the 2032 batteries. It would be nice if only one remote would control all the factors combined instead of one remote per unit. I just felt it was too much work to do. Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily.
