Polyester Outdoor Friendly Bean Bag Chair & Lounger

Heavy, firm, not very comfortable, and never broke in as advertised. I ended up giving it to a neighbor for her to use for her pets.

Don’t expect moon pod like .. big but fun

Sturdy but stiff -- if you jump on it you tend to bounce off and then slide down, rather than snuggling into it. But it stood the test of time, so, points for that.

Our two dogs, a great Dane and English Mastiff, love laying on this bean bag. We use it indoors as well as outdoors!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect since I haven't had a bean bag for 20 years, so I was viewing this purchase as an experiment. The quality and construction are excellent - I can easily see this holding up for 10 years of heavy use and 15-20 of light to moderate use. The size is great - it's honestly probably big enough for a kids guest bed, and I'm certain that I could nap on it (5'1" adult). The fabric is thick and sturdy, as are the seams - I'm not worried about snags or rips. And I appreciate that it's filled with foam chunks rather than those tiny styrofoam beads. I've had this lounger for about a month and my only critique is that it's not quite as flexible as I had wanted (probably because of foam chunks instead of beads). I thought I'd be able to kind of squish it into the corner of a room and make it into a cozy sitting nest, but it's a bit too stiff and bulky for that. It may soften up with more use, we'll see!

Sooo… the idea of this lounger is awesome! I thought it would be super fun for some of the grandkids to watch movies on, wrestle and jump on and just be kids and it will! But, I imagined a soft, beanbag-like lounger. In fact, there are a couple of things that surprised me. 1) it’s huge. Like HUGE and HEAVY! The photos show it on a queen sized bed! 2) It’s filled with cut up foam pieces, and initially not very comfy. I plan to keep it, assuming it will soften up with repeated use. My biggest problem is where to store it. I can barely get it under a tall bed frame. There is a zipper on the inside pillow and cover, so eventually I may remove some of the foam to make it more manageable. Recommend if you have a very large room! UPDATE I opened the inside pillow and removed half the stuffing. It filled a full trash bag! The lounger is still huge and comfy, but it’s much lighter to move and easily fits under the bed for storage. I call that a win!

This is a very large beanbag. I was not careful when placing my order and it is bigger than expected. I just assembled it and I'm waiting for it to poof up. It is a rectangle shape. I got it in blue which is a blue/ grey color. Very nice neutral color. It is big enough for a toddler to nap on, or a larger adult to sit on. My older child saw it and wants one for his room too. Assembly includes putting on outer bag on top of foam inner bag. It is easier to do if a second person helps you.
