The fan is great, the light is bright. It was a normal level of difficulty to install. One star off because the remote control is more complicated than needs to be. It is a rectangle with 8 same sized buttons, with no tactile features to differentiate the buttons. If you are trying to use it in a pitch black room to turn on the light, you have a 50% chance of not turning on the light and instead hitting a home button which causes the fan to blink off and on, and is jarring on the eyes when you are already unable to see because the light was off.

I am happy with the look and way these work. I wish the light could be dimmed. I ordered two of these and one of the remotes does not work well after I dropped it and put it back together. It should be a little more durable from dropping on the floor. I haven't contacted anyone to see if I can get a replacement remote. The wood color is a little darker than the photos.

I love this ceiling fan. I bought a white one for my bedroom and it blends in discretely to the ceiling. I live in an old house and sometimes the window AC unit is too cold or too loud when the weather is warm, but this fan keeps the room a pleasant tempurature. It's quiet as long as I regularly dust the blades to keep the weight balanced.
