The 4 Inch IC Type New Construction Shallow Housing is designed for both ceiling joists installations and drop ceiling (with T-bar grid) installations. It can be completely covered by thermal insulation. Also, the fixture may direct contact with any combustible material like ceiling joist or floor board safely. The new construction can light housing is a Title 24 compliant, no screw based socket or other medium-based incandescent socket adapters are needed.

The IC remodel housing was designed with an adjustable lamp holder for double wall airtight IC housing. This product was designed for use in insulated ceilings and built with thermal protection. Captive hanger bars are suppoed for max joist spacing.
