Handrail sizes come with the following components: For all sizes 1.5 feet through 5 feet: Set includes one (1X) handrail and two (2X) handrail brackets with mounting hardware. For all sizes 6 feet through 7 feet: Set includes one (1x) handrail and three (3x) handrail brackets with mounting hardware. For all sizes 8 feet through 12 feet: Set includes one (1x) handrail and four (4x) handrail brackets with mounting hardware and one (1x) internal splice. 8-12 foot rails will come as a two piece rail with an internal splice (see photos for view of handrail joint) For all sizes 13 feet through 14 feet: Set includes one (1x) handrail and six (6x) handrail brackets with mounting hardware and one (1x) internal splice. 13-14 foot rails will come as a two piece rail with an internal splice (see photos for view of handrail joint) For all sizes 15 feet through 17 feet: Set includes one (1x) handrail and six (6x) handrail brackets with mounting hardware and two (2x) internal splice. 15-17 foot rails will come as a three piece rail with two internal splices (see photos for view of handrail joints) For all sizes 18 feet through 20 feet: Set includes one (1x) handrail and seven (7x) handrail brackets with mounting hardware and two (2x) internal splice. 18-20 foot rails will come as a three piece rail with two internal splices (see photos for view of handrail joints) All kits include the following: Phillips head driver, Allen Keys, and drill bit for pre-drilling screws into studs, and installation instructions. The handrails are made from 1.5” round aluminum stock tube to allow for comfortable daily use. The distance projection from the face of the handrail to the wall when installed is approximately 3.75 inches. High strength construction meets load requirements of 200lbs or more. Check your local zoning for any additional requirements. The handrails are designed to have a minimum of 1.5" clearance from the wall to the back of the handrail to meet standard clearance code requirements (see images for technical dimensional drawing). Matching Stainless steel screws are included. The handrail brackets are designed to be mounted directly into wall studs. The handrail comes with matching plastic end caps. Satin black color has a gloss level of 21-35% For indoor or outdoor use.
