Sim Aluminum Pergola with Canopy

It was nice looking set up, but this was poor quality. The first storm that came took it and bent the legs and it blew over and got all dented. I had to throw it away. Lots of money down the drain.

The wind is crazy in west Texas, but this pergola has stood up for five years. After five years, there was some mine damage. I contacted the manufacturer and they came through with everything I needed! I would highly recommend this pergola for anyone looking to get shade in a small setting with a sense of beautiful color and style! I’m loving it!

I’ve never been able to put it together because a piece came bent. Actually, more than one piece came bent, which I was able to work around, but this one has put a stop to me actually building it. I wish I would’ve opened it right away when I got it last year, but I wasn’t feeling great. I’m a 65-year-old woman with an attitude to put things together. Oh well, I’ll figure something out. 

Great pergola at a nice price! It took two of us 3-4 hours to assemble it. It makes our back patio much more comfortable through the sunny hours of the day. We added the solar lighting. Definitely recommend this product for your yard or deck.

Color was supposed to be terracotta (according to product description) it is tomato RED which does not match my outdoor furniture at all. Too big of a pain to send the whole thing back so will have to look for a replacement cover. Disappointed.

Love it! Took my handy man about 4 hours to assemble. All pieces were included. Nice and sturdy.

Overall, this is pretty much exactly what we needed for our patio. It looks great and does what we want, there are a couple of quibbles: 1. It didn't ship with instructions. We were able to print them up from the manufacturer's website, but they even then they weren't great. 2. It's kinda flimsy, even after we added some extra wood (for weight) to the posts and screwed them into the deck. Not a huge deal, but we definitely aren't gonna lean against them. 3. The tarp doesn't slide very smoothly. It often gets stuck when you're pulling it open or closing it up. Again, not a big deal, but just something you should be aware of. We still really like this, though. The price was great and we couldn't be happier making use of the shade.
