Reversible Fan and Light Ceiling Fan Remotes & Wall Control

Couldn’t find these anywhere until I looked on Wayfair. Came quickly and it beats always hunting around for remotes!

If you have a Fanimation DC fan, you probably have a wireless remote with dip switches. This is the same thing, except in a different form factor plus an onoff switch-- which means that once you wire this up, you still need a battery to operate the controls. It's a handy thing to have for sure, especially being able to turn the fan light on upon entering a room. The ground wire is mounted on a small aluminum tab on the bottom of the back side of the switch. It could just be our condo's wall boxes, but that sliver of aluminum caused much grief by preventing a flush fit. I ended up sawing the aluminum tab off, drilling out the rivet, drilling in a new mount spot on the aluminum frame of the fan control, and re-mounting the ground wire there. Not sure why it couldn't have been done this way to start with, but this may or may not apply to other installation scenarios (it was an issue 44 switches in our condo).
