Selleck 72'' Torchiere Floor Lamp

This product looks like a lookalike of a common design, but it is actually of lower quality and lacks features. Its base is too light for stability and it lacks dimming switch. It is a downgrade, not a replacement.

I searched for halogen torchiere lamp and this is what came up but when I got it it was just a regular incandescent bulb screwing thing. I feel totally ripped off.

First, I ordered 3 of the white versions. It took Wayfair three weeks to inform me that they never had them in stock in the first place. Second, I ordered 4 of the black versions. 3 were fine; 1 had a jammed switch/dial: it could turn... but it was difficult to do so (using a wrench on it made it easier). I returned it for a replacement and ordered another (black) lamp. Third, the replacement and the new order arrived... and both were defective in the same way as the other: a jammed dial. So, ultimately, I paid for 5 lamps and only ended up with 3 that were not defective. I've had to switch to smart LEDs so that I can turn the damaged lamps on/off using my iDevices rather than use the jammed switch. In addition, only one of the lamps had a 'dome' that was level to the ground. The rest of them are tilted. It does give you the advantage of angling the lower side away from your view so that you don't see the bulb above the rim, but it's still a poor design for the fixture. (It _is_ possible to bend the metal attachment connecting the fixture to the dome, so you _can_ slightly reduce the amount of bulb you see. I gave the lamps 2 stars because they technically _do_ work, which is better than nothing. None of them have had any electrical issues.

Just what I was looking for: metal, weighted base; easy to put together, good quality; arrived lickity split.

These lamps are sleek and gorgeous. I especially like the bluish green accent color on the torch.

The lightbulb sticks out of the top a bit on this lamp.

The lamp was what I was looking for, except none of the bulbs I have tried (several shapes and sizes) sticks up over the top of the torchiere -- it is pretty unsightly.

Incorrect item description. I thought I was ordering a halogen lamp but instead I was sent one that uses a regular bulb. Not what I ordered or thought I was ordering. I will not be ordering from you again. Now I have to search other places for the correct lamp.

Arrived with a broken part, but not noticeable. Other than that it works perfectly fine and looks stunning.
