Works great and is bright and flexible and it serves its purpose

This is a fire hazard. We have had it for several months, then today while my 10 year old daughter was sitting at her desk in her bedroom, the shade began to melt right before her eyes. She quickly unplugged it, thank goodness. I am grateful she was in her room or I might have been telling a horror story. In addition, I’ll add that this is an obscenely overpriced lamp. The whole thing is cheap plastic, including the shade. I wasn’t impressed when I got it but didn’t bother to send it back. Little did I know it would later melt. Do not buy.

Cute lamp, though very cheaply made. The base is very light--it's almost top heavy after adding a light bulb--and something in the bottom rattles around. Mine came already scratched, however it looks like it was scratched during manufacturing and not shipping, as the box and packaging were pristine. Also, disappointed it didn't come with a light bulb. The cubbies are shallow, however they are perfect for things like post-its, chapstick, headphones, and pens.

We ordered the black color. As delivered, there were deep scratches inside the storage sections, as if the lamp was already used and worn. The plastic along the edges of the base was very rough and uneven. The black lamp shade was not opaque, and there were multiple small scratches on the lamp shade. I included photos with this review. Very disappointed. Not keeping it.

My son loves it! Would be nice if it had a bit more weight to it.

Not too in pressed with the lamp. I thought it was all metal except for the bottom tray. But the shade is plastic , too. I’m afraid it will heat up and melt.
