Haven’t installed yet, but these were a great value on sale! I’ve seen some places charging 80 per light and the cheapest other option was still 40. Since I have to buy a large volume of these, a savings of 5-10 per light realllllly adds up! We ordered these recessed lights for a new construction home, and overall, we are pleased with them. They are completely flat with the ceiling, making them look sleek and modern. They give plenty of lumens for large rooms. My only complaint is that even though they are the same kelvins, the undertones of a few of the lights are slightly different. We would buy them again.. The 6 slim led lights are replacing 6 round halogen lights. The installation was relatively easy because the wiring already existed. The existing holes needed to be expanded but there was a hole template included which eliminated figuring that out. Love the look, clean and simple plus they will be economical. Very happy!. Cathy. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult.
