used the shelf in the bathroom above a towel bar. I like the shelf because the glass is not square it has tappered ends which reduces the risk of bumping into it and potentially injurying yourself. It is in my bathroom more so for decorative purposes. It houses a beta fish in a rectangular vase. I like it.
