This magnification and light work quite well for me as I do wire-weaving. The options to use either the table clip or not is very helpful, as is the adjustability of the light. At home, I also use this lamp for my beading hobby as well, so I use a heavier light, but this lamp is so portable, I take it with me on retreats as well. The no heat part and the neck positioning makes this such a perfect purchase for me.

This light came highly recommended by professional miniature painters and it does not disappoint.Warm and cool light settings are not really required but are nice to view minifigures in various light conditions. Focal length is just a tiny bit short for normal 8” brushes when working with the magnifying lens but not so much as to be an issue. Construction was above excellent and it appears this lamp may out live my hobby. Nice work...highly recommended.

REVIEWS: IT'S CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY BRIGHT & NO SHADOWS. We use genuine diopter glass (175% magnification) so the 3-inch lens is clear and doesn't fog like cheap acrylic or plastic lenses. The LEDs generate 570 lumens of focused light in an 18-20" ring, for very bright light. Finally, the LEDs are positioned around - not above - the magnifier, so there are no shadows.
