doesn't fit the whole area

You might want to air it out before using it in your car. It has a strong chemical smell to it. It also warns you on the package that it has various chemicals that cause cancer. They aren't very thick, so they move around a bit more than I might like. They probably wouldn't be able to hold a lot of liquid. But they do the job for me. I was sick of soaking the carpeting that my vehicle came with. They would fit pretty much any vehicle since they aren't too big.
