Good little waffle iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this stands upright for storage. Makes it so easy to take it out rather than storing on top of/ or under something. The first time it was heated it, it had a horrible smell. I don’t know if it was because I hadn’t gotten all the soap off from the first washing although I did rinse it twice (with clean towel). I let it cool down and started over. No bad smell but I did throw out the first waffle (only need to do when waffle iron brand new) following directions for another waffle iron I use to have. It doesn’t make quite as deep as a Belgian waffle but it is not as thin as a typical waffle either. The waffles didn’t stick and didn’t leave any crumbs on the grid (big plus for me!), which may have been because I didn’t have any butter on hand so used oil in my recipe. I still wish it had removable grids. I really like that you can pick the crispness you want although the highest setting was not any browner (4 stars only) then any of the other settings – the difference of the waffle as far as crisp or soft isn’t a great difference on any of the settings. The difference was very subtle but I liked the lowest setting and family members like the highest. The top grid heats higher than the bottom one – top of waffle browner then bottom. In the instructions there is no indication of how much batter you can put in the maker. Ugh! I didn’t want it over flowing so the first few were too small until I figured out how much the “right” amount was. Also when I searched if any recipes for this maker found it is no longer made. So makes the question if I would recommend this product rather obsolete. Over all this isn’t a bad little waffle maker, do I wish it had a few more amenities? Yes but for making basic waffles it is really nice. I plan to use it at least couple times a month as long as it keeps the non-stick.

Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker Review
Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) The Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker has truly transformed my breakfast routine into a delightful experience! As someone who enjoys a good homemade waffle, I was intrigued by the unique vertical design, and I can confidently say that it does not disappoint. The sleek and modern design of this waffle maker is aesthetically pleasing and fits seamlessly into my kitchen. The vertical orientation not only saves counter space but also makes pouring batter a breeze—no more messy spills! The non-stick plates ensure that waffles come out perfectly golden and release easily without any sticking. This waffle maker heats up quickly and evenly, producing waffles in just a matter of minutes. The adjustable browning control allows you to customize the crispiness to your liking, whether you prefer fluffy, soft waffles or crispy, golden ones. I've made several batches, experimenting with different batters, and each time the results have been consistently excellent. Using the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker is straightforward. The indicator lights provide clear guidance on when it’s ready to pour batter and when the waffles are done. Cleanup is a breeze as well; the non-stick surface wipes clean effortlessly, and the compact size means it can be easily stored without taking up too much space. What I love most is the versatility it offers. Beyond traditional waffle batter, I’ve tried making cornbread waffles and even dessert waffles with chocolate chips. Each variation has turned out wonderfully, showcasing the appliance's adaptability. The included recipes have also inspired me to get creative in the kitchen. Overall, the Cuisinart Vertical Waffle Maker is a fantastic investment for anyone who loves waffles. It combines style, functionality, and performance, making it a must-have for breakfast enthusiasts. Whether you’re whipping up a quick weekday breakfast or hosting a weekend brunch, this waffle maker is sure to impress. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their waffle game!

I love this machine
I bought this waffle maker a couple weeks ago and I love this machine. I like that the waffle plates and the pancake plates can be removed for cleaning, which is the main reason I bought the Cuisinart waffle maker. The plates are non stick which makes for easy clean up and I don't have to use oil to coat the plates first before cooking waffles.. I like that the machine makes 4 waffles at a time. I usually make a large batch of batter and cook up enough waffles to put in the refrigerator. My hubby can heat them in the toaster before he heads out to work in the mornings and on the weekends when he's home I can make waffles and we can eat 2 at a time since the Cuisinart makes 4 waffles at a time. The Cuisinart waffles fit in the toaster for easy reheating. The machine is not overly large either so it fits nicely on my limited kitchen counter space. I also like that the machine will beep to let you know it's ready to use when you plug it in and also beeps when your waffles are done. It's a very pretty machine and spills wipe up easy on the outside if I overfill the waffle plates which I did the first couple times I used my Cuisinart. I've made waffle batter with pure maple syrup added and chocolate chips to see if they would stick to the waffle plates but they don't stick on the plates. All in all, this Cuisinart Belgian Waffle Maker with Pancake Plates is the best waffle machine I've ever used. I had checked features on many different brands of waffle makers before I decided to buy the Cuisinart. The Cuisinart had EVERY feature I wanted. Nice looking, not overly large, easy to clean plates that remove and a timer that beeps to let you know your food is done cooking. On a personal note, I like that it is not a real heavy machine but is very well built. I have arthritis so lifting anything heavy can be a problem for me. I have no problems lifting the machine to move it or putting the plates in the machine

Makes quick, easy & delicious waffles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a pancake girl. I've never even had a real homemade waffle, I've only had frozen waffles. I was offered an opportunity to try this double waffle flipper at no cost in exchange for my review. I've used it a few times now, tried a few different recipes, and I am so happy with it. It's very easy to use, it's set up already, no assembly required, you just take it out of the box, season it before the first use by brushing a little vegetable oil on it and then pour your batter in. Lock the top side, wait 10 seconds then flip, unlock and pour batter into the 2nd side. Wait 10 seconds then flip back over to the top. It's very easy to overfill, so make sure to use only about half a cup until you are more familiar with it - I made the mistake of overfilling it on my 2nd use and it was a bit of a pain to clean up, totally my fault, but there was waffle batter in every crack and crevice on the machine, lol. It was a mess! I've found that a half a cup makes the waffles a bit too thin and crispy for my liking, I do better with about two thirds of a cup of batter. Two thirds makes nice fat, fluffy waffles. It's easy to tell when they are done, you just wait for the steam to stop coming from the machine. If you like yours a little more brown, just keep cooking for a bit. Remove with a non-metal utensil so you don't scratch off the non-stick coating inside. The outside is easy to clean. I'm very pleased with it, I make waffles in it a few times a week now. My family loves it as well, it's super easy for anyone to use.

3-in-1 Morning Meal Station!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Black and Decker 3-in-1 Morning Meal Station totally for free from the Spectrum Brands First Look Community to use it at my home and provide my honest reviews in return. I was so excited to use it. I already knew that breakfast is by far the tastiest meal. Why? Because people can eat anything for breakfast. After some six-ten hours of not eating, something needs to be consumed in order to not turn into a sloth. The last thing students need is to have to go to school on an empty stomach – it just makes school that much harder. Unknown to many people, breakfast can actually help people lose weight! One theory of why it helps with weight loss is that breakfast reduces hunger throughout the day, so people are less likely to constantly be eating. I could make all the breakfast classics I needed, using it. With the interchangeable cooking plates which functions as a Waffle Maker, Grill, or Sandwich Maker, I could easily make those recipes. Nowadays. breakfast at our house is not a hassle anymore. It is just a breeze now. This 3-in-1 Morning Meal Station also has the coolest features. All the plates are nonstick and dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup, and include grease run-off channels for fast grease removal. The temperature indicator lets you know when the plates are preheated, and the cool-touch handles make it easy to open and close the appliance during cooking. Simple, I love this Black and Decker 3-in-1 Morning Meal Station. I have already recommended it to several of my friends and family, and have also invited them to our house for breakfast and given them a demo as well. They just loved it, and some of them bought it as well. Thank You Spectrum Brands First Look Community for sending me such a cool and so much useful household product and that too totally for free.

Perfect Sunday activity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old daughters favorite food is waffles. It is our lazy Sunday routine to have a waffle party with different toppings on a Sunday when we don’t have any real plans. I needed a waffle maker that would be fool proof because I tend to burn almost everything that I bake. This waffle maker has a light that notifies you when your waffle is baked! It’s literally a no guesswork type of thing! You add your batter (I’m still a novice and buy the batter that you just need to add water to, sometimes I get fancy and add milk instead of water and it works too!) and then you flip the waffle machine over and there is a light that lets you know when it is ready! The main thing that I love about this machine so the drip tray. For some reason I can’t figure out the perfect amount of batter to use and I always end up putting too much in. The drip tray catches almost all of the spillage, and it’s the most helpful addition to the waffle maker. I always line the counter with tin foil just in case I fill it way too much and it spills over the drip tray, but more times than not it’s just an added precaution that I didn’t need because the drip tray is a great size. So far the grates to my waffle maker are perfectly clean. I am too scared of getting them dirty, so we don’t add toppings to the waffle batter, instead we add it on top of the waffle once it is done. We realized that if you use the small chocolate chips and put them on top of the waffle as soon as it comes out, they will even melt in top so it is just as good as if they were melted inside! My kids love to add an assortment of toppings. Some fun combos that they did when I was in a good mood and let them experiment was a plain waffle with Nutella, rainbow sprinkles, blueberries, strawberries, banana and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. They are obsessed with the waffle machine, and love experimenting with different combos to ‘out do’ each other waffles. Lastly I love how to can store it vertically. I hate when things are on top of each other on my shelves, I feel like everything is always falling over and it just looks messy. I love that the handle folds in and it stores on the base so I don’t need to stack it on top of anything.
