The strainer inside is not glass, as shown in the picture, but stainless steel. I’m satisfied with it for what it is but would have preferred to have known exactly what I was receiving. It was one teapot, the stand (which I guess you can put an open flame in but I haven’t tried that... seems hot) and four small cups, very cute and good for a little party with friends. Pours well. Packaging was in Chinese. (I guess Winston Porter is an importer)

Ever since I caught a glimpse of this pattern on the "old" favorite program "Murder She Wrote" I was hooked. Also my grandmother had started collecting this lovely set that to I inherited. I so loved the pattern. The Country Roses Teapot, sugar and creamer finished my collection. And oh how lovely this trio of items are. Function and beauty at the same time. Now I think of my grandmother fondly and love too, the fact that Jessica Fletcher also poured tea from this beautifully patterned stout Tea Pot in her series! I love, love this Set! A great purchase.

Over the years Portmeirion’s Botanical Garden motif and chinaware have slowly deteriorated both in the elegance of the visual lines and in the richness of detail. That said, the designs are still quite pretty and in this instance their most recent tea pot while dumpy-looking, is spacious, keeps the tea quite hot, and importantly: pours without dribbling. At the price offered by Wayfair this makes this tea pot well worth it. Furthermore, the pot was quite well packaged and arrived in one piece, as hoped for.

The tea set is even more beautiful in person. No regrets if you buy it. My daughter and her friends( 12yrs) get together for tea parties. We do it really nice with a variety of cookies, cakes, and little sandwiches. The girls have a great time catching up. The Wayfair customer reps are great. The first tea set we received had a chip on the handle, but the customer reps replaced right away.Again so beautiful.

Git this for my granddaughter fir Christmas. Wasn’t sure since she’s in her teens if she would like it. She loved it. Absolutely loved it. Made tea for everyone. Sturdy yet classic. I wanted to order two more cups since she keeps expanding her guests. But I only saw 4 cup set offered. Now it’s sold out and I can understand why. Wayfair has never disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The product was delivered intact and early ! It was far more beautiful than the picture on the web site. The quality of the product was excellent. My sister was so happy with it, and so was my niece, and actually even my brother in law mentioned how beautiful it was. Purchased for a dear friend who loves to drink tea. The individual tea pot is just the right size to brew her favorite Green Tea or Herbal Tea..and the Teacup is lovely. The mini butterfly to hold the teabag is cute and useful.

I have been so frustrated when trying to hold a tea with the "Ladies that Lunch" in my neighborhood because my tea pots were too small. I hate to serve tea from a carafe but a two-four cup teapot just doesnt work with a tea party. I had been looking for a good sized teapot that wasnt too expensive to use for a casual affair. This is perfect. It is a perfect size and has a nice pattern that works well with just about any formal tea or china floral pattern tea set so I can use my existing service and just substitute a larger tea pot. The butterfly on the lid adds a conversation piece of whimsy to the setting. Pros: Wonderful price and great quality. Cons: NONE

I purchased the stainless steel tea set for My grandaughters 5h birthday. I chose it because of it's obvious durability and the fact that it was large enough to actually be used. She loves it and is still serving tea to her family 3 day's after her birthday. I also really like the storage rack that it comes with so children can learn to put things away when they are finished and can see if any parts are missing. Unlike the plastic junk that breaks getting it out of the packaging this will give her a durable toy that will last. Thank you for making Quality toys for a fair price.

Just got this beautiful dinnerware set !,, It’s really beautiful. The shiny glaze on it looks rich looking. And the swirl pattern makes it elegant !!! Can hardly wait till I can use it Yes, as previous reviews said The teacups are small but I have no problem with that. Thank you Wayfair !!!!!

I've owned this at least two times before. Love that its all glass and can be put on the stove top. I use it on a gas low/small btu burner, with a damper and a low flame. I'm also careful about letting it return to room temperature before I wash it. Water boils in only a few minutes. Almost as quick as a microwave yet water stays hot a lot longer than microwaved water and I don't have be afraid what microwaving is doing to my water molecules or if the container is seeping into my water/liquid, since non-lead glass is totally non-reactive. Only down side is you have to very careful with glass since it is fragile, hence my repeated purchases. . I usually end of breaking mine every 2 to 3 years and have to buy a new one. But I feel its worth it for the cleanliness and peace on mind it offers. And don't forget the beauty of it!

I am pleased with my glass teapot from Wayfair. It is pretty and can be left out when not in use. I like the diffuser for teas that can be removed when not needed. The only negative I can see with this item is that it seems to be very thin glass. I’m sure if it is dropped or even hit against a hard surface like granite countertops, it would shatter. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this product.

Just unique enough to stand out. I really love the shapes in this little teapot! The pot is short and the cup is really pretty tall. The longer stem of the cup feels elegant to hold. Gold touches are nice. Would make a great gift. The pot has a strainer in the spout, see photo for the size of the holes. I think most loose tea would work with with the built in strainer. It was packaged securely and got here just fine. Really delighted with it.

The little girl in me just had to get this. Wow! The woman loves it more! Classy, as advertised and just the right size to proudly serve guests with. Well wrapped, nothing broke and is more lovely in person. Well worth the hours of conversation opportunities and entertaining. First class purchase!

In ordering this tea set I did not realize I was ordering what would be a traditional Japanese tea set. I had assumed, for one thing slightly larger cups, however I am honestly impressed with this tea set both in appearance and the delicacy of the glass. This is not a tea set to sit in the study and sip tea as seen in a lot of movies this is almost a tea set for a ceremonial meeting or dinner. It is beautifully made, and exceptionally delicate. All of the glass feels as though it is almost paper thin and would potentially break if even slightly jarred. While I love this tea set I do not foresee much use in the simple fact that after setting it out so I can get my picture I realized exactly how heavy-handed I am and recognize the potential to accidentally destroy any of it. The tray and The Coasters are wood, and there is a plate underneath the teapot that is metal for better heat conductivity because the things that the tea is sitting on is the warmer or possibly to be used as an actual heater. The package arrived with a few extra empty boxes but nothing was missing, they were added to prevent the other containers from moving. As I said the glass ware is extremely delicate

It’s your basic teapot. Nothing fancy but it looks clean and classic. I like the simple look and the fact it has a built in strainer for the teabags. Packaging was great! Super secure and came intact. I plan to use this for an art project with permanent markers.
