Dear Hestan, You’ve made me a better cook!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review? Why this is my love letter to Chef Thomas Keller & the Hestan team! I’m overjoyed to have found you! Your attention to quality, design, comfort, durability, precision performance and…customer care is unmatched! I needed new pots & pans and spent a year deciding if I should purchase the trending ceramic-coated cookware. With consistent mixed quality & customer service reviews, I kept hesitating. Then, in January 2023, I discovered Hestan. Once I read about your mission, philosophy, performance & quality standards I was hooked! I chose the Thomas Keller Insignia collection for its innovative design, sleek style and of course its durability. In addition, I purchased this ProBond 5qt Essential Pan to complete my set. It has been 2 months now, using all of my Hestan cookware daily, and I find myself undoubtedly confident that I purchased the absolute best in brand & product! What I love about this Hestan cookware that I never had before: Outstanding Design: • The seamless-fit handles are comfortable to hold and truly stay cool, whether I’m making hard boiled eggs or simmering soup…they stay cool! Also the trigger grip allows me to pour my sauces securely while the rolled pan edges prevent drips. • The flush-rivet design assists in the ease of clean up as it prevents food debris buildup. I’m amazed at how quickly this cookware sponges clean and a little Bartender’s Helper keeps the stainless glistening! • The Thomas Keller Insignia Universal Lids are unique & fun! Their beautiful logo steam vents are beautiful and purposeful. • Top quality & Durability: • The triply is a nice medium weight, not too heavy or not too light, with wider bases (not taller) and curved sides providing uniform heat distribution so my foods cook quicker, more evenly & taste more flavorful! This wasn’t a pot & pan replacement purchase, as I had originally intended, this was a top-level lifetime investment! Thank you, I’m proud to own my Hestan!

The Best & Last Set of Cookware You Will Ever Own.
Words cannot adequately express how much I love this pan! Not only is it beautiful, but its overall performance is simply amazing. In fact, I was so impressed by the essential pan's performance, that I bought the entire Nano-bond set...This NanoBond cookware is a game changer! It's a serious upgrade to any high end stainless steel aluminum or copper core pans. They are attractive, light weight, extremely durable and scratch resistant. They have comfortable stay cool handles and clean up is a breeze. They heat evenly, there are no hot or cold spots and you can go from stove top to oven with no problems. They also work on all cook tops, from gas and electric ranges to induction stoves. I've even used them on my BBQ grill. I will say that there is a very slight learning curve to effectively use these pans. Probably because they do heat up faster than traditional stainless steel pans. I would say they are very comparable to cooking on copper. But without any of the hassle that comes with maintaining copper. For the most part, I've never had any problem with food stickage. I did manage to burn some eggs once, but it cleaned up like it was nothing. It also seems like the finish on these pans is indestructible. I use these pans just about every day and they still look like they just came out of the box. I do get occasional water spots, but they come right off when I use some Barkeepers Friend on them. I've used a lot of cookware in my time, and these are by far the closest I have ever found to being the perfect pans. It's a real joy to cook on them! I really hope that Hestan expands the NanoBond line. Because I would LOVE to have a 6.5 quart saute pan to add to my set!

THE BEST
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing 2 baking sheets as well as the sauté pan and utensils as a Christmas gift to myself, I was beyond excited! I even wrapped them up to put under the tree to me but the mystery was who they were from! I just turned 70, and for my entire adult life, I bought inferior, cheap cooking equipment knowing I’d have to keep replacing them when they started looking awful. Well, not anymore. After years of buying expensive clothes, shoes, and handbags, I decided to gift myself with the best in cookware. For sure, it’s a higher price point, but like everything else in life, you get what you pay for! I’ll never have to replace these because they wore out. I could not get over the heavy, smooth, substantial feel of it all. Even the large spoon/ladle fit in my hand perfectly! But I delayed using them immediately because I didn’t want to get them dirty! Lol! I finally got brave enough to throw away my old, worn, ugly pieces and used the new baking sheets first. I was so nervous they wouldn’t look new or come clean. Let me tell you, after about 2 months of daily use, all the pieces look as shiny and new as the day I got them. Everything cooks so well (the sauté pan is incredible) and it’s all soooo easy to clean. I even let my husband cook with them, knowing he couldn’t ruin anything. I am looking forward to building my collection!!

Versatile & great for one-pot meals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weeknight Pan has become my go to pan for family meals and hasn’t left my stovetop since the day I received it! The pan is sturdy and well made. It heats up extremely fast and the heat is evenly distributed. The long handle stays cool at all times even when the pan is searingly hot. The small handle on the opposite side, is extremely helpful to carry the somewhat heavy pan. Cleaning the pan takes no time. For though we messes, a little bit of Bar Keeper’s Friend combined with a little bit of scrubbing, makes my pan look brand new. With its large cooking base you can sauté a large amount of vegetables or sear meats in no time. The high, sloped sides are perfect for simmering stews and preventing splatters from going all over the stovetop. The pan is large and the perfect size for family sized one-pot meals. Less time spending cleaning various dirty pans and pots, means more time to spend with the family! As if that wasn’t enough, the pan is also oven-safe. You can keep meals warm, reheat left overs right inside the pan, or finish off your meal with cheese melted to perfection after just a few minutes in the oven. I absolutely love the versatility of this pan! This is hands down, one of the most versatile and best constructed pans I’ve ever owned. If you want to invest in one pan that will last you a while, this is it!

This is my first piece of All-Clad and my first time shopping at Wayfair, and my order arrived on time. First thing I noticed about this 3 quart All-Clad sauté pan was that my 3 quart Farberware sauté pan, which this pan replaced, fit inside of it. The All-Clad is slightly wider. If you fill this pan with 3 quarts of water it stops just below where the curve of the lip begins, about 1/2 inch deep from the very top of the pan, which means you can hold the helper handle to pour it all out without spilling. Most pans, when they say 1, 2, 3 or more quarts the water level will be right at the top of the lip and possibly overflow with a single drop of more liquid. The second thing I noticed was that three slices of bacon rested flat in the pan, without curling up the sides, thus it cooked my bacon more evenly. When the bacon was halfway cooked, with enough bacon grease covering the bottom of the pan, I cracked in three eggs, one at a time, pushing the first one out of the way of the second, and so on, till I had three eggs over easy. The best thing is, neither the bacon or the eggs stuck to the bottom of the pan. After cooking I just poured the bacon grease into my bacon grease jar, poured two cups of hot water in the pan, swirled it around a bit and dumped it the sink. I wiped the pan out with a paper towel and it was clean. The next thing I cooked was Chicken Parmesan. I really enjoyed adding the tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of the breaded chicken and then just sticking the whole pan in the oven, instead of transferring it to baking dish. The 3 quart sauté pan is my go-to pan of choice, the only other pan I ever use is a 3 quart sauce pan, so this in d5 Brushed Stainless will probably be my next purchase, but I'm keeping my cast-iron dutch oven!
