Best Roasting Pans With Reviews

I bought this to replace my old, worn out roasting pan. The one I had was beginning to peel off the black coating of the rack. This one does not have a coating, which I like alot better, since I dont feel like if the coating would start to come off, it could get into the food! I used this for my Thanksgiving dinner. I had a 19lb. stuffed turkey, and this roasting pan held it with room to spare! It is spacious and sturdy. You could easily cook whole dinners, including potatoes and vegetables, in it without a problem. Lifting the pan to get it into the oven is a breeze. I like that the rack holding the meat has handles on the opposite sides of the handles used to lift the base. I consider this to be a very good investment and love to have it included in my new cookware sets!

Love this roasting pan. Made roasted veggies for Thanksgiving, good heat coverage across the pan, easy to lift with those leveraged handles. I then made Cornish Hens for Christmas, they cooked beautifully, got a nice sear on the bottom. No warping from the high heat so it’s a win.

You can use it to make a big cake a double batch of brownies, a turkey, a ham for anything. The size is awesome. You can use it with or without the rack. It has great handles, which gives you great ease when picking up heavy foods. The depth of the pan is wonderful. The nonstick bottom is great. You honestly could cook almost anything in this pan. Also you can use the rack for other uses besides using it in the pan. Cleaning it is a breeze with the non stick coating. I works by another to have on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is literally the very best roasting pan on the market. I have owned at least a dozen in my 40 years of life. None have perform the way this one has. Not only is it incredibly thick and durable the handle set high and offset from the pan itself. The V shape roasting rack is essential to get a great outer crust on things like pernil. I seriously doubt with this level of quality I will ever have to replace this pan. If I were to have to replace it I would not hesitate to replace it with another Cooks standard pan of exactly the same make and model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this roaster for a month now and I have ZERO complaints. I love the look of the stainless steel, the shape, the weight and the way my chickens/roasts have turned out perfect everytime. I have used the rack only once, to hold my whole chicken, I feel as though the spaces are too far apart and would be better suited to hold a turkey. The handles on the pan are securely attached and I like that they are not too thick, so I can get a good grip on them with my pot holders. I only use this pan in my oven, as my convection oven is not wide enough to hold it. As I said at the start, I have ZERO complaints. By the way, I have only been handwashing it even though it says it is dishwasher safe. I love the shine and do not want to mess that up!

I ordered this pan to replace my lasagna pan that was too big when I moved into an apartment with a smaller kitchen. Now I live in a bigger house and my original pan fits in the oven but this is nice when making less food. For the price it’s just what I needed.

I love it! it is much bigger than the last one I had and that was what I was hoping for. This will be very useful for me to cook a roast in with potatoes and carrots, onions and whatever else I want to put in there. I would definitely recommend this.

So I gave this its first run with a turkey that was 6.5 kilos or just about 14 and 12 pounds. What I wanted was a lid on Dutch oven effect (but typical DOs have flat lids and can’t accommodate big birds). Since I use 2-3 cups of stock or broth in my recipe I achieve a steam effect similar to a DO. My bird was cooked lid on (then finally removed for browning). The turkey was absolutely juicy and tender. The Gib is here to stay. I have turkey 6-8x a year.

Beautiful extra large roaster with substantial handles and rack. This will keep me from having to buy those tacky aluminium disposal pans. I am so happy with this purchase. It washes up wonderfully. Cooks fantastically. It's an excellent purchase. I'm seriously thinking about buying another.

It's great. Perfect size for smaller things. Wrapped two small pork loins in bacon. It was wonderful not having them lying in the bacon grease. Turned out perfect. Tender meat with less fat...great!

A very sturdy pan and rack that fits my new Hamilton Beach Easy Reach Toaster Oven perfectly. I love the toaster and the pan is exactly what I needed forit.

We just had the opportunity to use our 13x17" roaster for a turkey. What a great product! It is very sturdy, has high enough sides so there is less spillage, the rack is very substantial and the handles are easy to grab. The best thing was how easy it cleaned up afterwards. Usually a turkey pan is hard to get clean with all the baked on grease, but this pan cleaned up in a flash. Thanks for a great product.

I got this to bake sourdough bread in. I have mostly used an enameled dutch oven but wanted another option to make it easier to bake multiple loaves at the same time. I also thought being able to invert this and bake on the lid might make it easier to insert the dough into the hot pan. I have baked one loaf and am very happy with the results. It isn't any better than the dutch oven but I was able to do it on the lid and removing the pan part way through cooking wasn't a problem. This is definitely a better deal than buying another enameled dutch oven and I can use little or maybe even no parchment paper.

I haven't had a chance to use it but, my first impressions leave me impressed. The lid seals on super tight, it's a real nice heavy pan. the only reservation I have about the pan is that it doesn't look quite long enough for a whole rack of ribs. In other words, it looks like I may have to cut a rib or two off to fit. Especially if you're going to cook 3 or 4 racks. I can't wait to try it. I think it's going to make fabulous ribs!!

I bought this roasting pan as a gift so I have not used it. I did remove it from the packaging to check it out. It is a very nice size and weight with good handles. I am a cook and know a little about what to look for. I saw many pretty roasting pans but they were not quality products as the Avolon roaster appears to be. The only problem I had was in receiving it. Unfortunately it arrived 6 days later than the delvery date and now I will have to resend it which will be costly.

I’m always happy when I purchase items from Wayfair. Especially pleased with this roasting pan ..it fits my needs and was very affordable. This was not my first purchase..I have ordered items for my daughter (a rug..which she was extremely pleased) and various items last summer for my patio. Always a pleasure to deal with this company.

One of the main reasons why I've spent literally thousands of dollars on AllClad products has been because they're mostly American-made, and their products that aren't are 'usually' clearly labeled as such at their website. This one (and another top-dollar roasting pan I bought) were not labeled, and I foolishly made the assumption that AllClad isn't going to be charging stratospheric 'Made In America' prices for Chinese merchandise. I was wrong. I could have called them up and asked them before I bought these pans but I took a chance and I lost. My fault entirely. Still, their lack of interest in being fully forthcoming about where their products are made wounded me, and for that they lose a review star and perhaps a customer; we'll see about that. The pans themselves are probably perfectly fine quality, but that of course is not the issue. We all 'vote' with our pocketbooks and MANY Americans try to vote for the USA whenever we can. Manufacturers are welcome to build their products in whatever country they choose; I just think that people deserve to be clearly told what choices a company has made.

Did the job nicely. I needed to replace my old roaster. It was much bigger so I was a little worried by looking at the reviews that this wouldn’t fit a large size turkey. I gave it a try anyway. The Turkey shown is 19.57 lbs. I know it’s not the best picture but hopefully it helps. I put foil around the wings and drumsticks initially so they wouldn’t burn (but would’ve done that anyway regardless of the size of the roaster). The lid just fit and the Turkey cooked nicely. The picture is just when I was about to put it back in the oven without the lid to let the skin crisp up slightly. Basting the turkey was fine though a little tight. I wouldn’t say it was so cumbersome that you couldn’t do it effectively. Everything worked out great! Very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perforations allow for a nice smoke flavor, just the right amount depending on the marinades that you choose to use. The roaster itself is high quality and extremely durable. I love that there is no need to worry about food sticking due to the anodized coating. The handles allow for a good solid comfortable grip even with oven mitts on. My husband can even use this comfortably. I mention this because he has huge hands and he has had issues with other roasters that are similar to this one. We have used this for fish, poultry, meats, veggies and fruits. It really is a necessity for anyone who loves to grill outdoors. Highly recommend, this would make a great gift as well.
