Best Plates With Reviews

I bought 3 sets of these 12 pack dishes. All came in tack, packaged really tight and well. As mentioned with other reviews these plates are not white white, more like an off white grey. A few of my plates have very small black flecks them. Also a few warped edges. They are for a bridal shower and I want to make the event a more up scale with real plates.

I’ve been searching for holiday plates for years and took a very long time to arrive at the decision to commit to a set of Vietri Lastra Holiday plates. They are refined but still handmade with each different brushstroke adding beauty to the plate. I am so excited to set my holiday table with these plates and can’t wait to collect more pieces.

We purchased our initial eight dinner plates from a small French boutique in Portland. When we decided we’d need more for holiday entertaining, I went directly to the website and ordered four more dinner plates. To my shock, four giant 12” chargers arrived! They’re massive! I jumped back on the website to see if I had inadvertently ordered chargers only to learn these are the gluttonous American-size “dinner” plates and the ones I’m after are the European dinner plates … you know, the size that accommodates a normal-sized portion of food and, yes, I’m judging. The quality and beauty are still there, but these are ridiculously huge. However, if you need ridiculously huge charger plates so you and your person can share dinner off a single plate, this is your winner.

This is beautiful china! Exactly what I was looking for. A touch quirky, yet sophisticated & even works mixed with my fine china. Love it! 12/13/20 Update--I have had this china 2 years and it chips and scratches easily. It is not durable. Also, it has little bubbles in the finish that frankly are not acceptable. Wayfair connected me with a Vietri representative who replaced some of the worst ones and the replacements had even more bubbles in the finish than the ones they replaced! Very disappointed, as I love the look of this china. If I could rate this again I'd give it 3 stars.

I was a little disappointed when these arrived. They are a little smaller than what I thought they’d be and not a true white, more of a very light grey. I needed some extra plates after some of mine had chipped and broke and I thought these might match. For the number of plates you receive and the cost, they really are well worth it to have as extras.

Love these bread and butter/ dessert plates. So light weight and the most durable dishes that I have ever owned. They came in a timely manner, in perfect condition! They fit in nicely to my recent purchases of white square dinner plates, luncheon plates, and bowls! This dinnerware set, is my 3rd set of Corelle! Other 2 sets were passed on to family members, as I changed up my decor. Very, very durable dishes!! Thank you Wayfair!

Terrific deal on these plates! We've owned the Simple Lines design for years now with no issues whatsoever, but recently the dinner plate lines have begun to fade. The plates are fine, merely showing the results from years of use and dishwasher, but it's bothering me to use them around company. Rather than deal with this issue again in the future, I decided to go with plain white plates, since they'll blend in perfectly with the rest of our Simple Lines pieces. I'll use these now and just keep the faded ones as backups in case they're ever needed. You honestly can't beat the Corning Vitrelle line because they've survived years of use by our whole family, with no breakage whatsoever, and prevented any worries about our kids possibly getting hurt by traditional delicate dinnerware shards. Wayfair offered a great price and speedy, free shipping, so who could resist?

A beautiful set - very modern and unique. It was greatly admired by my friends . I bought the set of cups with it The cups are perfect size. The only little is a tiny a small chip in one of the cups. Not sure what can I do about it . But still love it . Thx

I inherited this pattern from my mother, and have thoroughly enjoyed adding to it. I use it November through February because it is so versatile. She only had a few of the salad plates, but we found that size to be very useful for us. We probably use it more than any of the other size plates, and we have four different ones. This pattern is well constructed and stands up to everyday use very well. It also dresses up very nicely.

Both my mother and I have the real thing, but I was sick and tired of her and I stuck in the kitchen hand washing them after Christmas dinner while the men watched football :-). From looking at them, you can't tell the difference between the China and Melamine. It was fantastic putting them in the dishwasher and watching football this year. They did great in the dishwasher by the way!

I love these plates and would order another set if they were available, I can hardly wait until they come back. I find the pattern heart warming and inviting. I lost ;my son and the cardinal gives me another feeling that he is with us. The table will look perfect for the holidays. I am old and if I never get to use them - I am proud to pass them on to my granddaughter. Hopefully my daughter wiill let me set the table with them at her house for the holiday get together, We can alternate places with white plates if I don't get another set, I have a lot of Winter Greetings serving pieces so I an excited to see it all together. For the past several years I have given Winter Greetings pieces as gifts I love the pattern.

Since the first days of November I looked online some different designs for dinnerware, none of them convinced me as the "Holiday design by Lenox did". I was looking for some traditional Christmas pattern and when I saw the video as how they made each and every plate I decided these ones were the ones. The Holiday design is so elegant and they totally say we're on Christmas season. When I received my first set of 6 plates they got me with the excellent quality. After that immediately I decided to order more and more just to complete my set of 8-10. My original idea was to set my table just for Christmas dinner night, but suddenly at the first day of December I thought why not use them as our daily plates the whole month of December? Life is to enjoy every day and we're enjoying this beautiful plates every single day during the whole month, this is going to be a tradition starting this year here at home. I already set the dinning room table just to mix and match with different placemats colors, wine glasses and plate chargers for Christmas dinner.

My granddaughter loves the Butterfly Meadow China and didn't think I there was any way she would ever have it. She is one of my favorite people in the world and when I saw the pricing on Wayfair, I decided to order it for her. She isanxnioustosee it but until it is all received, I'm waiting to show it to her. I received these Lenox Balsam Lane Dinner Plate set for four and I'm in love with them. I have been using them for a little over two weeks now. Fall is upon us and they are the perfect set to have for Fall and Winter seasons. They look so elegant yet relaxed for entertaining casually or everyday use. They'll put you in a festive mood. I really enjoy the quality and unique evergreen tree designs. They are also accented with festive metallic microwave safe gold stars, so yes! you can use them in the microwave without damaging them. They are beautifully crafted porcelain yet practical for everyday use and easy clean up. Yes! They are dishwasher safe so you don't have to worry about having to hand wash them. I will continue using this set to show off to my guests as we often have family and friends over for small gatherings and these are just perfect for that. Whether you entertain for the holidays or not, these will be a beautiful addition to your china cabinet to use this time of the year and put you in a festive mood too!

I use the square plates in all their various sizes. Ordering 6 of these small round plates was a departure for me, and I am certainly glad I did it! Of course they look nice with any other Fiesta items. I use these rounds often for a few crackers and cheese spread, or a couple of cookies, or grapes, or other fruit. A modest slice of cheese cake fills this plate and makes the serving seem bigger! And I've actually used them for serving appetizers! Being so small and so flat they are easy to fit in the cupboard and dishwasher. Of course they have the attributes of all Fiesta items -- high quality, durability, deep colors, classic design, etc. etc.

Love the Fiesta ware, but there seems to be some differences in the glazing process. I have these invthe Sage and Cobalt, and the Sage has definitive rings, but the Cobalt does not. You can feel them, but they aren't highlighted in quite the same way (hence 4 instead of 5 stars). I ordered 2 sets of 4 plates each - one set in Sage and one in Cobalt. The Sage plates came ONE PER BOX - thoroughly bubble-wrapped in a 6"x12"x16" box (see photo). The blue set came 4 in a box - a smaller box. All arrived in a timely manner, in perfect condition. I wasn't thrilled about the waste on the Sage plates, but I'm very happy with the plates - which, by the way, I had a hard time finding anywhere else.

I received these plates today and was very impressed with the quality, look and feel. The duck egg blue is beautiful, and I love the speckling on the plate. Its a very sturdy, solid plate but still pretty enough. The plates are smoothly finished and will be mostly used for everyday dining. Very pleased with my purchase and have purchased other items too from the range. All equally impressive and look like they will last. Delighted.

I searched high and low for white dishes - days online and two trips into London. We are a family with three teens who collected a large set of the 1961 Denby Chevron pattern for many years. Unfortunately, the plates were looking a bit worn and I wanted a more modern update to our table. We kept the serving platters, bowls and tea pots. The funniest thing is that these White plates are the first ones I found but I was concerned they were too large and knew they would not fit in our top cabinet. So, I obsessed over searching for others and couldn't find what I had in my mind. In the end, we decided we would just store the Denby White plates in a drawer instead of a cabinet and we ordered the plates, cereal bowls and small bowls. We LOVE them. SIZE - They are a bit larger than average but with the wide lip and somewhat deep well, they are not overbearing. The plates fit in the back row of our Lamona dishwasher. WEIGHT - Some bistro style plates are insanely heavy while many of the porcelain plates I looked at seemed too delicate for the modern everyday vibe I was seeking. To me, these are the perfect weight. DESIGN - So classic. These will never go out of style. I can set a casual or semi-formal table and even mix in some of our fine china. I opted to not get the salad/dessert plates for now as I like to change out the salad plates with whatever fun patterned plate I may find. So, if I chance upon some amazing/artsy/cool dishes, I can just get a set of the salad plates to add a little spice to our lives. :) DENBY CUSTOMER SERVICE - Three dishes that arrived had some surface issues. Denby asked us to send photos of the dishes and promptly sent us replacements. Excellent service. I am also happy to know that this design will most likely be around for a long time and I can replace and add to our collection. I rarely write reviews but hopefully this will save you from wasting as much time as I did researching white dishes. Highly recommend.
