Best Dish Racks & Drying Mats With Reviews

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Umbra Sinkin Dish Rack is ideal for those who have minimal kitchen counter space and are looking for a in-sink dish rack so you can dry your dinnerware overnight. Its dimensions are 14" x 11" x 5.25" and fits perfectly in either partitions if you have double kitchen sinks. It's small and compact and perfect for an individual or for a small family. It holds a good number of plates/bowls and has some surface to lay abnormal shaped dinnerware. There is also a small utensil holder as well that has drainage holes. The whole dish rack is raised up above the sink surface with 4 rubber coated feet that won't scratch your sink surface. So far I have had no issues with rusting, but that is a problem that some other reviewers seem to have later on. I will update if I have the same issue. But so far, so good, and the dish rack looks sleek and modern.

First, I do love the idea of this caddy. I hate things on the counter and for some reason my counter is always wet! I thought that by keeping these items off and in the sink, I would minimize the wetness. Mostly, I'm correct. The problem has now to do with the execution of the caddy. I don't know if it's my sink in particular or that the suction cups need to be a little bigger. I seem to have a slight lip of counter over the sink, so the suction cups on top have a difficult time adhering to the surface of the sink and I'm routinely fiddling to keep it in place. More than once, with a sink full of pots and pans and water, it's come off. Otherwise, it does what I want it to do and that is to minimize visual clutter and wetness on the counter

I purchased this dish drain to replace one that I had used for a least 20 years. I wanted something large and sturdy. This is both of these things. I have made it work for my needs even though the tray is smaller than the rack itself. The rack slides inside the rack instead of the rack sitting upon a wider surface. I place an additional rubber mat under the rack for any water that does not get collected in the tray it comes with. I like the silverware caddy. It is quite large and has removable lids with guides to hold individual flatware and a slot for knives etc. It also has a larger space in the middle that can hold larger utensils. I gave a rating of 4 stars because it does not hold dishes very securely. They do tend to fall over easily compared to the previous one I used.

I do not have a dishwasher and needed a replacement for my old white dish rack, which was looking beat up. I chose the Wayfair Basics® Countertop Dish Rack because of it's sleek black color and design, and narrow width (the counter is only 12-inches wide next to the sink). When it arrived, I noticed the sides are not as high as my previous drain rack, and the flatware holder is very small. I was concerned it would not support the same capacity as the previous drain, but have so far been pleasantly surprised. I particularly like the way it fits on the narrow counter, and how the spout of the drain pan beneath the rack is centered and curves over the sink perfectly, allowing the water from the dishes to drain freely into the sink. As it is about three inches narrower than the previous drain rack, it fits perfectly on the counter, and does not intrude on my access to the garbage disposal switch as the other one did. While I do not feel the rack can handle the same load as its predecessor, and I have to be more careful about how I fill it, the Wayfair Basics® Countertop Dish Rack is a good choice and I know it will give me years of good service.

Its really a great product.. It fulfills the description mentioned in the website. I also like the way... wayfair treats its customers. If they miss a delivery date for any reason they complement with some amount of purchase credit. Will definitely buy from Wayfair

Very useful! It fits right into my standard size sink. Online, It says stainless steel with chrome finish, and the photo the wire/tray part looks more of a light grey color stainless steel/chrome finish, but in person its dark grey steel/chrome color. I do like the generous size of the utensil holder, larger than the ones I've had, and the utensil holder is made of thick plastic material and its black in color.

Cut corners make it fit in double sink. If you have a small 14+ x 12+ inch sink, and this rack doesn't fit in place correctly, nothing will. Feet and plastic overcoat keeps it from scratching porcelain or metal sink. We load it up and it hasn't bent. Plastic utensil basket is held in place by 2 clips which keep it stable. This was a replacement for the first one, which lasted 3 years. After year 2, the plastic coating began to crack, and minor rust stains formed. After year 2.5, with housekeeper overloading it for 1 year, the utensil basket clip broke--common to this design, so we held it on with . Both of which I accept as normal, compared to others I have owned. But 4 stars not 5 because of the weakness of the utensil basket clips.

For a compact kitchen this dish rack is ideal! Holds just enough dishes and pots on the top rack. If you have a big family this rack might be too small. After a few months of use, it's still intact and looks new.

This dish rack is exactly what I have been looking for. Our apartment did not come with a dishwasher and I love to cook and bake so I needed a drying rack with lots of room. The extra level for plates and smaller items was a huge bonus and the whole rack is very sturdy no matter how you place things in it.

A great mini get-away right in the kitchen. The relaxing scene with Mr, Heron draws me in and makes this winter seem far away at times. Great design and coloration and a highly function piece. too,

This is made out of solid non bendable metal, very sturdy. I Just cant figure out how it would hang over sink... unless its for those thin farmhouse sinks. My divider is too wide. Nonetheless its a nice little basket that allows air to circulate my non rrefrigerated vegetables. It does fit over my cabinet door but then that doesnt close. I think Im missing the hanging functionality but it is a sturdy and attractive little basket.

Wow! Exactly what I needed and more than I had expected to utilize my small, awkward space! I had been dreaming of the over the sink dish racks like I had in my kitchens in Europe as I have so little counter space and prepare all my meals from scratch, so juggling prep area and the washing up is a challenge. I installed a double sided composite granite deep sink and had a dish rack in the left side, with a mat(seen hanging on L in 1st pic) to put on counter for overflow, but soap dispensers, scrubbers, dishcloths etc. were strewn all around. I designed my backsplash from vintage roof slate and tile to give me a window which I love, however any type of accessory caddie with suction cups doesnt adhere to the uneven surfaces of backsplash and sink, nor could I screw anything in. Roaches are a fact of life in the South, and they are attracted to water and food particles. It was extremely difficult to keep the area behind the sink clean and dry with all the clutter and the rack in the deep sink meant dishes took ages to dry and I had to put away everything and take out the rack in order to wipe down the sink and drain. This rack solved all of the above inconveniences without having to modify any of the features I lovingly installed. Sink stays clean, clear and dry, dishes dry faster up in the air and are no longer marched over by roaches nor shed on by cats! It doesnt obscure my gorgeous backsplash, is not a permanent fixture and being freestanding meant I could position it squarely over my sink and all racks and baskets, which are thoughtful and ideal for my needs, pop off, so cleaning is a breeze! The clean lines and classic SS finish make it compatible with my faucet and other applianceS. Unbelievable that something this stylish and functional exists that fits in an old outdated kitchen! A super simple, economical answer to my prayers!

This dish rack is everything! Ive been struggling to find one that is the size I want but that will drain properly, since my sink has a fairly tall lip around it and most strainers dont go over it. This strainer has 2 options - a flat, catch all drip tray (which Im using) and then one with a lip. It is really sturdy and has plenty of space for all kinds of dishes! I love the knife rack and cutting board clip. I also like the additional drip trays you can install to catch drips under the side additions.

We’re very happy with the dish rack. We don’t have a huge amount of counter space in our kitchen, and this really opened up a whole lot of it. We were able to replace the utensil container by using the hooks, a basket holds the soap and sponge, and the nice rack holds a few knives. Obviously, the dish drainer is also off the countertop as well. In all, we have so much more countertop space now. It’s a great rack and quite useful too.

The color and design match my kitchen perfectly. I deducted a star because a 'pebble' on one end will not lie flat. I will soak in water to see if that helps; it is just a minor thing. Overall, I love it.

The colour of this sink mat is AMAZING! Bright and bold which pops in a white farm house sink. It has holes through out so the water can easily drain out of the sink. it is thick enough to help prevent glass breakage. Thank you Wayfair!

I looked at this for a long time before deciding to order it. We are remodeling our small kitchen, and without a dishwasher, so finding a special dish drain was important to me. And this is it! It's beautiful and highly functional, worth every penny. Love it.

love my new dishrack.... its going to add a huge pop of color to my ab&b..... they can use it to store there dishes after they are dry also if they prefer for an additional pop of color.... very satisfied!!

Nice looking, absorbent and large enough to handle a few pieces of all-clad when drying. Folds in thirds and stores nicely in the drawer with my kitchen towels. I wondered if I really needed the All-clad brand but it’s great quality and I’m glad I got it!
