This carafe is by far the best I have purchased from Zojirushi. The lid is easy to open and close. The amount of water hold is exactly what I need and this carafe is able to keep water warm for as long as 24 hours. I hope they comes in large size as the 6.38 cup is the biggest size for this model.

Aside from keeping coffee or tea hot, I plan to use it to keep gravy warm as suggested by Cooksillustrated. I especially like the final test where they filled the carafes with hot seafood stock leaving them to sit overnight. When the carafes were washed none of the carafes held on to the fishy, savory smell. This was the winner in the cooksillustrated thermal carafe test. The tag was in Japanese, but a translation Appl came handy.

Keeps coffee hot! Perfect for personal use to grab a ‘cuppa’. Easy to clean. Quality product. Saw another review that it fits under their coffeemaker for direct brew. It’s too tall for my Ninja so I brew a couple of travel mug size and pour it into the pot to stay hot. Love it! So convenient. Really like that it is made in Japan, known reputation for quality.

My pot of coffee I make in AM stays hot all day. Bought this smaller one to replace a 1 liter carafe I've been using daily for over 6 years. Had to get a new lid but carafe still usable and keeps coffee hot all day. Since becoming widowed, just wanted a smaller size for myself. Highly recommend this product

I love this so much. I fill it up every morning with hot water and it stays at a good temp throughout the whole day so it reduces the frequency I need to boil water. Bonus is that I have brought this with me cross country skiing when the weather was 5 degrees. I had it in the car for 3 hrs and the water was still hot.

This pot functions very well, pumps very smoothly, easy to clean. Preheating with hot water is a must..as with all secondary pots. Keeps beverage hot for 2-3 hours. Remember thermos style containers will keep liquids hot for longer periods when they are FULL. As the pot gets emptied the beverage cools faster. So dont take testimonies too seriously that say it stayed scalding hot until the next day. It is important to buy the right size. If you buy a pot that has more capacity than you need...you will sacrifice that perfect cup of coffee during your mid morning break. Overall...it is a very nice pot.

Living in retirement home, my 84-year-old mom accumulates 4 styrofoam cups of coffee per day. Bought this airpot to pour her cups into and keep hot for her. It worked great; I LOVED IT!!! However, my mom couldn't remember how to use it (even with simple notes I attached to it!) However, I would recommend it to anyone who has any kind of memory - very simple to use!

I love this carafe. It is hard to find a large size carafe that has a glass vacuum liner (not stainless steel). This one is well made and exactly what I was looking for. You can also brew through the lid with a cone type drip filter, which I didn't know when I ordered it but is a great feature. I also want to comment on the superior customer service. The first carafe I ordered arrived with a very large dent in the side. I contacted Wayfair about it. They replied in less than 24 hours, sent me a new one which arrived in less than a week and told me to keep the damaged one. Thank you, Wayfair. Pros: Excellent quality. Glass liner not stainless steel. Keeps liquid hot all day. Best price from any retailer. Cons: None that I have encountered so far.

This item is a French-press coffee maker, not just a carafe. I am so very pleased with it! I have several presses in varying sizes and materials and this one is a fine addition. It makes a boat-load of fabulous tasting coffee. It’s fairly easy to clean, once you figure out the sweet spot for the little chub thingy on the stem. Love its looks, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the carafe I thought it was going to be bigger. After washing it and finally using it I put coffee in it. It actually stayed hot for majority of the day, I was very shocked. Also on the box it mentions that it can keep drinks cold. So I added cold water and waited a few hours. It wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be. So I put ice and water in it, it stayed cold and still had the ice cubes in it. This is perfect for any trip, kid function or even at work. Highly recommended

The carafe is pretty and functional. It holds a pot of coffee and pours easily. It keeps hot liquid fairly hot for about 6 hours. I’ve only hand-rinsed it so far but without some sort of dish rack, it cannot be turned upside down to air dry.

This was shipped directly from Moccamaster on the west coast and arrived here on time. The package was obviously mishandled in transit (thanks FedEx for your consistency in that arena) and the outer box slightly damaged. We opened the box to discover that the carafes (we ordered 2) were not harmed. We're back in business with our coffee machine and happy to have a second one "just in case."

I really love this product. I brought a Tea Set long time ago, and I had a hard time finding a Coffee Server. Most of the leading department stores do not carry this in the stores. They only carry this via on line. I had reservation order this on line because it is so delicate. I was worry that this may not ship well. I really want a coffee server to complement my tea set. By having both, I can serve tea and coffee at the same time, when I am entertaining. I have been searching, and doing some price comparison on line. As it turn out, Wayfair offers the lowest price. I was skeptic at first, but I decided to order it any way. I was really please, when I received my coffee server. They packed it very well, and it came in one piece, no chip, no breaking. Not only is this replacement exactly what I needed but the timeing of the delivered was uncanny or as we preferred to call it...a Christmas miracle. Our old carafe was spilling and my husband suggested I get line and fine a replacement. You offered the exact one I needed and at a very reasonable price so I ordered two. Now we are a blended family and every year for the past 20 years we have a Christmas Sleepover here at grandma and grandpa's house. Due to schedules, out of town kids, etc. we had ours this past Friday night. Twenty-six of us all snuggled in for a Christmas morning. As you can imagine that's a lot of coffee. Saturday morning as we took a break from the gifts you guessed it...the original carafe came apart. The replacements had been delivered Friday afternoon and sat in the foyer just waiting. I bought this for a school function to provide hot water for coffee and cocoa. It was nice to have hot water on hand and not have to boil water several times. It’s a big unit and I guess I didn’t understand that you have fill the pot and boil all that water which takes a while but less than an hour. Then you set it aside on warm and when you need more hot water you it boil again. But the idea is that you don’t have to wait as long for hot water. It heats up at a fraction of the time because the water is already kind of hot so you’re not starting from water at room temp.

At first I thought it seemed a little small but most of the time it’s only myself drinking coffee. When I have other guests may wish for something larger. It seems to do a good job keeping my coffee warm, and doesn’t leave the taste of it sitting on the warmer. I am happy with it

This was just what I was looking for! I have an espresso maker that I needed a carafe for. I make lattes and made a mess with just the little pitcher I had. The works splendidly and allows for my accurate measuring as well. I definitely recommend

I have a home-made cafe latte every morning, and I froth my skim milk with the BonJour Coffee Caffe Frother -- and have done so for years. Every once in a while, the glass carafe cracks or breaks -- usually because I've knocked it over onto a hard surface, or my husband has. Under normal use they are very sturdy and I've had them last for years. I keep a couple of extra carafes on hand (I order in threes) so I never have to go without my frothy latte for even a single day, and to save on shipping costs. BTW, the original product -- carafe, frothing device and rubber base, is absolutely THE BEST product for producing thick, creamy froth from non-fat milk. I've tried those battery-operated, vibrating whisk things, and they not only die much faster, but they don't froth nearly so well as the BonJour Coffee Caffe Froth product. Take it from a die-hard latte lover!
