OMG FINALLY!
Have you ever made an omelette in a non stick pan but it gets ripped into a mess because it sticks really bad? Your mess is over. Perfect beautiful omelets slide right out of the pan. Have you ever made German potatoes pancakes? Well since the main ingredients are eggs and potatoes and a little flour you constantly have to move them around and they still stuck. Lets not forget the vegetable oil you have to use as well, adding some for each time new batter iyou put in your old pans. I thought what the check let's give this a whirl. No oil or butter or anything. I love potatoes pancakes the way my mom made them. So I heated the pan and scooped the batter in. Unfortunately I put to much batter in so the batter went to every edge. I waited a bit and went to loosen the batter at the edges but it wasn't stuck. I shook the pan gently and the pancake was as free as a bird. I was going to try a free flip but wanted to eat the pancake so at my son's suggestion I slid it on a plate and put the pan over the uncooked side of the pancake and flipped the pan and plate over. My son was even shocked. No sticking and a beautiful golden brown potatoe pancake. Now I had to start eating it before my son came back in the kitchen. Oops got caught so we shared. Since I have back and other health issues it was great. Dropped another scoop of batter and went to rest tracking the time to flip. AMAZING!!!! Stop torturing yourself, for the reasonable price of the pans you have to run out and get some! Happy Eating!!! Now I want to get more of The ROCK pans!

Ideal size and truly nonstick :)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is a deep skillet, so perfect for meats, side dishes (casserole recipes) for our family of 6 (3 kids included) I love the size of this pan.. not super large where it takes so much space everywhere and not small either, it is the ideal size for us 6. I cooked a chicken recipe that I started on the stove top and finished in the oven and came out exactly how I wanted, nothing sticks to the bottom or anywhere around the interior of the pan due to its enameled aluminum material. And when I washed it I basically wiped off whatever was left on the pan with a soft sponge... in our house we use the scrubbing sponges that have a scouring side and a yellow side that is soft, absorbent and does not scratch the dishes.. I recommend that after the pan is almost completely cooled off, to rinse any food particles and just wash it with dish soap and lukewarm water with a soft non scratching pad or sponge.. which is what I used and cleaned out perfect, no need for hard scrubbing as it will only scratch your nice pan... and actually the brand advises that it is safe to wash it in the dishwasher but I personally prefer all my pots and pans to be washed by hand. So after it was all clean I noticed how the pan was intact, perfect like new, it held its shape (did not bend or anything), there were no stains at the bottom.... and actually I was pleasantly surprised that the bottom had no stains whatsoever because usually after using any other pot and/or pan It creates a stain at the bottom but this one came out clean just like new. Besides the outstanding performance I love the shape, the interior nonstick coating, the bottom, the handle is amazing, and the beautiful teal shimmer color! .......... this pan makes for that special gift for any occasion or celebration to anyone that loves to play in the kitchen, they will not be disappointed ;)

Great Skillet, No Regrets
I came to Hestan initially because I was wanting to replace a small skillet that had not held up as well as I would have liked. I was looking for a quality replacement and did a lot of research comparing various ones and that’s when I came across Hestan, I am familiar with All-Clad and others. I was intrigued by the nanobond line and the strength of the finish, where and how it was made, the temperature conductivity, and the oven temperature limit really drew me in. I went to see the line at a local store and loved how it felt in my hand and the look of it didn’t hurt, I ended up purchasing the 8 1/2 pan direct from Hestan. I have used it extensively over the last year and a bit and been very pleased, for me the cost was worth it. When I first got the skillet I tried cooking all the things people said that had issues cooking but found that was not the case for me. Sure food sticks from time to time but the pan is definitely less sticky than others if that makes sense. I think those folks were expecting a non stick frying pan, if that’s what they wanted then they should have ordered one. Warming up the pan, adding butter or oil and doing a light soak with hot water to clean if needed was all I needed to do. After near daily use over a year I have 1 light scratch 3/16 of an inch long in the pan and some on the bottom from my stove element which is really rough. Big difference in comparison with my all-clad copper core 12” skillet and le creuset saucier over a similar time frame. I have pictures below of the inside and bottom of both the nanobond skillet and the saucier after 1 yr of use. I have purchased the nanobond Dutch oven as well and I am looking forward to receiving it.

A glint of diamond, the heft of quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The promise of this pan is longevity, enhanced by tiny industrial diamonds sparkling when the pan is held up to sunlight. I haven’t had the pan long enough to speak about longevity, but I can confess to certain information about ruggedness: If you want a non-stick pan to remain non-stick for long, you must use non-metallic spatulas, spoons, etc. , to prevent the scratches that end its effective life. I chose to continue this practice with my new pan regardless of Hestan’s claim. That lasted about a week when I found myself wielding a stainless steel fish spatula, prepared to gently lift a trout from the pan. Things did not go well. At the last second, the fish spatula rotated in my hand, and the sharp edge of the spatula dug into the non-stick layer with a loud scraping sound followed by an even louder wail from me. I, of course, immediately abandoned the offending fish spatula and just tipped the pan, sliding the trout out onto the plate. Then it was time to assess the obvious damage. Except there wasn’t any damage, obvious or otherwise. The pan was pristine. So it appears the pan will last, but how does it cook? Great. A good pan needs heft. It takes a certain amount of heat-conductive metal to prevent the hot spots that thin pans suffer from, and I like that metal sandwiched between stainless steel and whatever material might be used for the inside. It certainly adds to the aesthetics on the day you buy it, but, with the most minimal care, keeps the product looking new. It’s been my experience that Hestan products uniformly stay brilliant. With the evidence now In that the coating can take serious abuse without damage, I’m convinced enough to buy a few more sizes of the same pan. Yes, they are really expensive, but the cost per cook, cost per year ensure that, in the long run, they are an above average value.

VERY GOOD NON-STICK FRYING PAN
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Original GreenPan, Valencia Collection 12” Frypan is a nice quality, premium non-stick frying pan. The Original GreenPan cookware is uniquely recognizable by the mineral enhanced, Thermolon ceramic non-stick coating which is green in color. The construction of the Original GreenPan, Valencia Collection 12” Frypan appears to be high quality! The body of the frying pan is constructed of thick, cast aluminum which is anodized. The shape of the side of the pan near the bottom appears to indicate that a heat dispersion disk is bonded to the bottom of the pan which provides an absolutely flat base which does not rock on the stove and is intended to evenly distribute heat at the cooking surface. The bottom of the frying pan is rough textured. GreenPan describes this feature as being the “Magneto Induction Base”, which is further described as being a magnetic base which is designed to provide excellent performance on all cooktops, including induction cooktops. The 8.5” bright stainless steel handle is curved and contoured, and is very comfortable to hold. The handle is tightly attached to the body of the pan with two large rivets that appear to be very secure. The User Guide states that the handle is oven safe to 600° F. The frying pan weighs 2 pounds, 8.6 ounces (1151 grams). The frying pan measures 12” in diameter at the top and 9” in diameter at the bottom. The curved sides measure 2.25” deep. The handle is non-insulated metal and can get very hot therefore requiring appropriate, cautious handling. The non-stick internal ceramic coating appears to perform very well, and hopefully will remain effective and durable over the long-term. Most non-stick coatings eventually fail or wear after varying intervals of use and possible abuse. Non-stick cookware should not be exposed to excessively high temperatures, particularly when dry/empty. No cookware stays perfect after being burned, but nonstick cookware will almost always suffer permanent damage. The manufacturer claims that this nonstick coating is free of PFOA, PFAS, lead and cadmium and is oven and broiler safe. GreenPan claims that the non-stick coating is metal utensil safe, chip and scratch resistant. GreenPan claims that the nonstick coating is safe for use with metal utensils. I never use metal utensils with any nonstick cookware and only use silicone, plastic or wood implements to preserve the integrity of the bonded, nonstick coating. The GreenPan 12” frypan performs well on the stove. I measured relatively even heating on the bottom surface. GreenPan packaging and documentation does not refer to use of this frying pan on ceramic/glass cooktops. Given the rough texture of the bottom of the frying pan, I do not know whether or not if it would be wise to use it on a. smooth-top range. Cleanup was extremely easy. The nonstick surface meets expectations and cleans very easily with just a sponge and dish soap, with very little effort and no need for difficult scrubbing. After repeated cooking, washing and drying, the interior and exterior of the pan, inclusive of the nonstick coating, still appear as if brand new. The GreenPan cookware, has a two year warranty for the nonstick coating, and the rest of the product is warranted for the lifetime of the purchaser. Overall, the GreenPan, Valencia Collection 12” Frypan is very nice. It is apparently well designed and constructed and appears to be robust. I hope that it will also be very durable for the long-term. I have every expectation that this frying pan will serve us well for a very long time. It is performing very well now, and certainly meets or exceeds expectations.

Great and performance worthy cookware set!
I have been using my 12 piece triple ply stainless cookware set for a few weeks now. I bought the set as a replacement for my Martha Stewart stainless set that I have had for over 15 years. I loved my Martha Stewart pans and still do EXCEPT the lids are raised in the center which makes for less clearance for my fingers when I grab a hot lid resulting in burnt fingers! So after two years of isolating due to the pandemic, I decided to treat myself and upgrade to this set of pots and pans. I LOVE how they heat up so quickly. Much quicker than my old set! Yes, they do scratch on the inside of the pan, but so did my Martha Stewart pans. And the scratches don’t impact the pans’ performance. I haven’t put these new pans in the dishwasher, but maybe down the road, I will get lazy and do that. I never hesitated about putting my Martha Stewart set in the dishwasher, but I also paid a lot less for them. (And they always came out of the dishwasher just fine.) I did buy this set on sale around Christmas and felt for what I paid, it was a great value. My lids are also stainless steel. Some reviews said they were disappointed because they wanted to be able to see through the lid. I am the opposite, I did not want glass lids. Other reviewers commented that they wish a 12 inch frying pan was included in the set. I have an all-clad 12inch skillet which I rarely use because I feel it’s almost too big, so I don’t agree with that comment. I however, would have liked a smaller stock pot included in the set. My husband’s and my only complaint was that the top edge/rim on the steamer basket was razor sharp. It was like they forgot to buff it at the factory. I called Cusinart customer service and they sent me a replacement steamer free of charge. So obviously I think their customer service is terrific! The pans are heavier than my old set. Both our adult children have all-clad pots and pans and I have several all-clad pieces as well. I would say my Cusinart pots and pans are comparable to all-clad in quality. It was hard for me to see this on the online photos, but the exterior of the pans is a brushed stainless steel. Personally, I would have preferred polished stainless steel, but it would not stop me from recommending or purchasing them. Overall, a great set and for far less than all-clad.

Best frying pan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This non-stick pan is used every day and is the best I've seen. I purchased several non-stick pans in the past. Some had teflon, ceramic or copper. Issues I had with these were - handle came off a couple because it melted - teflon came loose and flaked off or got etched from cooking food that stuck to the pan - inexpensive ceramic got etched and became like glue. Everything would stick, probably even water. - a copper pan was ruined after cooking food with high fat - another copper pan was ruined after left unattended on a medium heat after 20 minutes I avoid cooking high fat foods (hot dogs/hamburger) in this Green Life Diamond Collection pan because of the the history with other pans getting ruined, but the quality of this pan surprises me. The handle is still solidly attached. I've left the pan unattended on a medium heat for 50 minutes and hasn't affected the finish or non-stick properties. The finish is still shiny so the name "Diamond" is fitting. Even the bottom of the pan has not darkened over time like all of my pots and pans with this gas stove. Although the finish on the bottom edge of the pan shows some but not much wear. Lack of wear might be because the finish is also on the sides and bottom of the pan. The rubber coating on the handle is comfortable. I cook with a minimum amount of butter or oil and eggs still don't stick. The eggs cooked over easy won't slide off of the pan unless loosened with a spatula first. I have better luck with scrambled eggs when not scrambled in the pan and to leave the egg undisturbed for a short period. I like my scrambled eggs slightly wet but they tend to stick a little if I keep stirring them with the egg turner. Clean-up is easy. Never use a scouring pad to clean. A sponge is all that I ever use.

Even heating and non stick = a perfect skillet
This is the second pair of these two skillets. The smaller one gets used several times everyday and so my first one became a tad too damaged and so I searched for a new one. If I was the only person cooking it would’ve lasted for many years. But occasionally my wife or son attempts to cook something and neither are as adamant to only use non metallic utensils as well as care to never leave it empty the cooktop to overheat. The larger one is not so frequently used so it still performs as new. Buying a single small skillet of this quality was about the same cost as the 2 piece set, so having another extra only makes sense. I actually believe this small Al-Clad skillet outperforms my same size Le Cruset pan I recently paid much more for, in evenness of heat, as well as the non stick slipperiness. I was truly disappointed when I cooked eggs in each side by side. No spray or oil. The AlClad was cooked and zero resistance when it was time to shift the caramelized underside, the other one wasn’t effortless to break that surface tension. Additionally it cooked a bit unevenly. I used lids for each and both were in the same size elements of my induction cooktop. All in all, I’m happy with each and every one of my AlClad items. I’ll likely still purchase Calphalon now that they offer a full assortment of induction friendly products, but only a couple years back I needed to replace my entire Calphalon collection except the items good for an oven.

Great Pan - Satisfied
I've had an 8" pan for 2 years, and a 10" pan for 1 year. I have no complaints at all. I am careful about what sponges I use to clean it with. I use scotch-brite BLUE sponges (not the green, and it cleans the pan fine with no issues, and no scratches. I'm not going to say food doesn't stick, but I have a few tricks that allow me to get it clean with minimal issues, several tips from this websites cleaning recommendations. I had issues with scrambled eggs sticking terribly, but that was my fault. Premix your yokes/egg whites in a separate bowl. Butter in the pan, drop your pre-mixed eggs into the melted butter. Keep pan on medium heat (I have a glass stove top. When you see the edge of the egg being cooked, pull the cooked egg into the middle of the pan (two strokes of the spurdle. Wait a little bit more for more to be cooked, and then wait, and by then most egg should be cooked, and move the uncooked to the pan until complete. It keeps the pan soooooo much cleaner, might stick in a small spot or 2, but cooking that way helped me ALOT. Sometimes meat will stick, like sausage patties for example, but right after I remove the meat from the pan, even if it looks stuck, I run the pan under cold water and "swoosh" the water around, and due to the heat differential and the bubbles from the heat it will oftentimes pull any burnt residue off the bottom of the pan. If you let it dry, it is a BEAR to remove. Anyway Good luck!

Great set of mostly pots! Matches older All clad mirror stainless pans
Besides the confusing nomenclature for existing owners wanting to expand their classic All-Clad sets, the d3 series cookware matches the quality and properties of the previous (and for some specialty cookware - current) all clad stainless mirror finish products. Though more affordable than the d5, the d3 set heats up faster and is a better option for regular use. The mirrored d5 and d3 series match each other aesthetically, with the d5 being heavier and and retaining heat for longer. It is said that the d5 series cooks more evenly. In practice, the d3 line does a very good job of evenly cooking, and if I weren’t pleased with the performance of the d3, I would look to the copper line rather than adding more bulk to the cookware. If you are matching older anodized, copper, or brushed stainless cookware, you might want to consider ha1, d5 brushed or copper sets, respectively. Of those lines, the HA1 line doesn’t appear to have the same quality or manufacturing as previous anodized models, which led me to donate my older limited cookware for a unified mirror stainless look. There is anecdotal evidence that big box retailer’s collections of d3 are not up to snuff, but buying directly from All-Clad.com seemed to present better pricing and decent free shipping options. This set focuses on pots, which is great if your are adding to a collection. There are few pot-based sets available in stores, probably because pans are cheaper and retailers want to WOW you with the number of pieces rather than what pieces you are getting. I didn’t need another set that came with 4 fry pans… I don’t even need 4 fry pans. You may find that this 7 piece set along with a pan set match your price points and needs better than a large single set. Besides this set and what I’ve donated, I own the d3 1 qt pot, 8 inch fry pan, and 8 qt pasta cooker, and some older mirrored stainless 10 in frypans. The lids on the d3 are thin and heat up, sometimes requiring a pot holder to open, but the cookware itself is all flawless. My favorite pan that is t included in this 7 piece set is the 8” fry pan, which, once seasoned and with additional butter during cooking, makes perfect omelets (it along with the 1 qt pot play with scale and looks great on the pot rack). I also use the pasta cooker (not included in this set) more than the 6 qt pot because of the strainer. This pot seems to be part of the stainless mirror line, which matches but isn’t part of the d3 line. I did notice the pots developing a rainbow hue after their first uses, but vinegar (or simply cooking a sauce that includes vinegar) cleared them up. It’s possible these needed to be washed better before initial use as the problem has not returned. At the price I paid, this set was an unbeatable deal.
