The Matfer Bourgeat Spiral Whisk incorporates the functional design and durability famous in Matfer Bourgeat Whisks combined with an innovative, hinged flat-head design. Its rotating spiral design is to suit all pots and pan for easy mixing and is ideal for cooking milk-based sauces and creams without sticking. Manufactured in France, its handle is comprised of Exoglass®, a proprietary composite material developed by Matfer. This material is non-porous, easy to clean and can be sterilized, and its long-lasting material will not deteriorate or rust over time. The handle is heat resistant to temperatures up to 430°F, and features a flared handle end to prevent the whisk from slipping into pots and bowls. The hinged whisk head is made of stainless steel with a removable coil for easy cleaning. A diameter of 3 ½”, the whisk head ensures constant contact with the bottom of the pot, allowing precise control over delicate recipes like Pate de Fruit or Crème Patissiére.
